For months my partner had been suffering from frozen shoulder pain and sleepless nights, and the pain was not improving from western medicine. We decided to give acupuncture a try. We found Accent Therapy through Google search and after reading google reviews, we booked our first appointment with Jing Jing (Joy) Chen. She did an initial consultation and suggested a treatment that would benefit her condition. After her first treatment with Ms Chen, her pain was significantly reduced. She had a long peaceful, painless sleep after a long time. Ms Chen was professional and compassionate towards us, and she even fed us as we were there for almost four hours at the clinic. She is very kind and prompt at responding to my messages and on time to pick us up from the main door with a smile. Her English is also good, and we can communicate with her well. After my partner's treatment, I also booked my treatment with Joy. Today 23 May 22 Joy treated my shin pain and it is much better now. Accent Therapy is conveniently located at 40 Eden Crescent next to Quest. The clinic was very well maintained and clean. There are many options for treatments apart from acupuncture to suit your budget. Highly recommend Ms Chen for acupuncture and other treatments or advice.

Jing Jing Chen (Joy) is a wizard with the needles and her treatments are intense. I felt a noticeable difference in my body, back and hips after my first treatment and during additional visits she has been able to explain why her dual focus on structure and organs has been so effective. I was quite skeptical about Acupuncture however thought of trying it out anyway because I had frozen shoulder on my right arm. My husband and I googled to read some reviews. We came across Accent Therapy. Calling and making appointment was easy. Jing Jing (Joy) Chen was very prompt in responding. We saw her the same day. First there was an hour consult to get to know about all issues that I had. Next I bought a package of 6 treatment as it was cheaper then paying separately. I had 2 sessions same day and amazingly the pain that I had due to frozen shoulder was reduced drastically. I was able to sleep well at night and booked another treatment the next day. I was treated by Jing Jing (Joy) Chen. She was attentive, she took really good care of me while attending to me since I have needle phobia. She kept on checking on me continuously. I am so glad to have felt no pain the next day and will be getting my treatments done with her. Highly recommend anyone who is suffering from pain or would like to give it a try. The clinic is very clean, all needles used were new from packaging, hygienic. Prices are reasonable so there are many plans to choose from. They also facilitate ACC clients. My emotion had been so blue, had cold feet, sometimes aversion to cold especially while tired, migraiñe, éye soreness and dryness, stomach bloating, leg heaviness, hard to walk, sleep deprival, sudden waking up at between 1.0 am to 3 am, day time tiredness, groin severe pain, inner thigh constant soreness, neck and shoulder discomfort. During Dr. Wang's treatment, I felt very relaxed and then napped for 30 minutes, although when needles were inserted into my skin, I felt temporàry pain. After treatment, my emotion became much better, legs much lighter, éye, neck ànd shoulder discomfort and other symptoms were apparently àttenuated. I will definitely go for more frequent treatmeñts and strongly recommend people suffering from any symptoms go get relaxation and rehabilitation from Dr. David Wang's therapies.

Very professional and thorough examination. I got acupuncture from Jing Jing Chen (joy) and felt improvement in the first session. She also provided valuable insight on the organs and parts that need balancing. New post - got my third session with Joy today. I was out of words. She is a gifted healer with genuine care and natural instincts. She was able to pin point all the areas in my body that needed attention. Acupuncture points with just the right amount and type of stimulation for the different muscles in the body. I have always held a lot of tension and tightness in my body and have tried yoga, stretching, sports massage and acupuncture. Sports massage really helped release a lot of tightness but it got to a point where there was still some deep tension I was holding onto that was just not getting released. Acupuncture at another place didn’t work. But I followed my gut feeling and went to Accent therapy and I am so grateful I did! I’ve had 3 sessions with different focus points like organ balancing, structural balance and muscle balancing. Each session I’m feeling such significant improvements it’s amazing! Breathing has gotten deeper (I used to breathe from the chest) back pain almost completely gone. Joy treated all the right points that I even felt emotional release and cried at the end of the session. The most beautiful part was after the session Joy and David shared their breakfast with me and held space for me to release all the emotions that were coming out from the therapy. I was deeply touched by their gift, kindness and care. Joy has also been giving advice on types of food to eat as I have always had cold hands and feet. I was a bit afraid of acupuncture but Joy has been using gentle stimulations to release the tightness with great results. So many new sensations and feelings. Not only working on the tight spots but also points all along the body to free up the channels for a continuous flow of energy. Feel like a new person! She’s a gifted healer. New update - I’d been feeling lot of pain and soreness from some extremely tight and over used muscles along my back. Before trying acupuncture I had really bad fatigue for 5 years, neck shoulder and back tightness for 5 years, frequent Lower Back Pain: esp L side, breathing trouble/asthma, shaking hands, more severe R hand, Hemorrhoids, insomnia, poor digestion, usual constipation for 5 years, more severe recently for 2 weeks without anything out, extremely hot all the time even in winter, abnormal sweating for 6 years, stomach bloating, want to defecate but cannot, period heavy and painful, clots, dark red, before period breast tenderness, 28-38 days between 2 periods, 7-10 days each period, dizziness, headaches L side more frequent, painful abdomen, whole body ache, itchy skin, eczema, breakouts of pimples on my face. Jing Jing (Joy) Chen offered to balance my organs and I jumped at the chance! I didn’t feel any pain just a strange tingly sensation as the needles were inserted then I didn’t feel a thing. While the needles were in I rested and I didn’t feel any different but as soon as the needles were removed I immediately felt the difference!! Once the needles were removed I fell asleep instantly and remained asleep for a full 8hours for the first time in what feels like forever! The next morning I woke up and felt the need to defecate, usually I try and nothing passes but to my surprise I was able to defecate and I felt so much better. I texted Jing Jing (Joy) Chen to let her know and to thank her for helping me out!! Overall I think acupuncture is amazing and everyone should give it a try! It was a major success and I will definitely be saving up to reap the benefits as often as I can 😊
