I have been going to Justin now for many years for fortnightly treatment for a few long term injuries. To be able to walk out after an appointment 80%-100% pain free for a few days is incredible. He goes to great lengths to make sure you leave feeling better than when you arrived. My son has also used him over these years for a stress fractures of which he was in tremendous pain and received relief on his first visit. I recommend him to anyone that mentions trying acupuncture.

Justin is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, has an absolutely holistic and natural approach and always takes the time to listen to all concerns and factors everything into the treatments he provides. He offers very early appointment times to allow people to get to work on time which has been great for me. He’s successfully treated my pregnancy related nausea and also sports injuries I’ve encountered over the years. Highly recommend!

Justin is professional and accommodating with his acupuncture business. I really appreciate the early appointment timeslots that enable me to attend an session and get to work on time! He is always willing to answer questions about the process and provides sound advice around diet and lifestyle choices around pregnancy and fertility (my specific reason for attending). I would highly recommend Justin and the Maxwell clinic if anyone is looking for further information on acupuncture to support fertility and pregnancy.

I have had a very good experience with Maxwell clinic. Justin knows what he is doing and very knowledgable. I have had Accupuncture treatment from him in my first pregnancy which was through IVF. The treatment helped me a lot for a smooth pregnancy and normal delivery. I had my shoulder treatment as well recently and definitely it was amazing experience. I had this pain for almost 2 years and after a few sessions with Justin my shoulder is normal now. I have referred one of my friends as well who shared a positive outcome after having an Accupuncture treatment in her pregnancy. I have been seeing Justin on and off now for a number of issues over a few years. Justin is gentle, attentive, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Through Justin's successful acupuncture I have managed to lose pain in a shoulder that had bothered me for more than 15 years - nothing else, including two surgerys had fixed it. I've also, with the assistance of acupuncture, successfully lost weight; got pregnant and stayed pregnant when they thought I was going to have my son prematurely; had an easy birth and now Justin is working to turn my second baby, which is currently breech. I would, and often do, highly recommend Justin for any injuries, fertility and pregnancy issues or any other need for acupuncture.

Justin is incredibly knowledgeable in the area of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and really takes the time to listen and understand any issues you are having. He has a relaxed manner and gives great advice on tweaks you can make to your lifestyle. Highly recommend.

My wife book 10 sessions. She visited Justin as she was receiving treatment prior to giving birth. Because of this treatment my wife was able to have an easy delivery and short labour. The clinic is a really relaxed atmosphere.

My accupuncture sessions with Justin at the Maxwell Clinic have played a huge part in managing and treating my endometriosis (after deciding I didn’t want another laparoscopy). Justin brings together Chinese medicine and his knowledge of hormones whilst ensuring that each session is targeted to how my body is feeling and to support different phases of the cycle. Each session is very informative, I always leave feeling relaxed and restored and his genuine interest and expertise in holistic health is always greatly appreciated. As well as the best benefit of having reduced pelvic pain!

Justin is extremely professional and highly knowledgeable. He provides excellent holistic care, caring for the whole body as well as focussing on the problem area/injury. I’ve had a reduction in pain since the first appointment, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Justin has done wonders for my son who suffered a Stress Fracture to his lower back in May playing cricket. After many months of going through different option to try and relieve the pain, we decided to give acupuncture a go. What a difference a day makes they say. Pain free within two appointments, Justin has looked after my son's back and shoulder so well it has enabled him to compete at the Auckland tournament of which we were sure he was not going to be able to do with the pain he was in. I started treatment with Justin a while ago. I felt a great improvement since my first appointment. He gives me good advice, is always on time and I always leave his clinic feeling better. I recommend.

I can't praise Justin highly enough. Myself, plus the friends I've referred, have ALL commented that when we leave Maxwell Clinic we feel settled in everything he's recommended or explained. Whereas leaving a doctor or specialist, you often walk out terrified, Justin is so knowledgeable and calming and I think this is why he has so many returning clients. Not to mention walking out feeling renewed, relaxed and ready to take on the world! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him for treatment, medical or otherwise. Thanks Justin!

I came to Maxwell clinic at 37 weeks pregnant with puffy hands, ankles and severe carpal tunnel in both hands (shooting pains at night keeping me awake and squawking, while during the day I had barely any feeling in my hands at all) - and to my horror I read this was only going to get worse as I neared my due date. Thank God for Justin's acupuncture!! With the pregnancy package, the horrible shooting pains, numbness and puffiness subsided after a couple of sessions. Justin was also able to help baby get into the right position for birth and my midwife is exceptionally grateful - my blood pressure became better than when I got pregnant after just a few sessions. His service is impeccable and it is superb to deal with such a lovely professional. The office is quiet, warm and relaxing - I look forward to every session!

I have nothing but thanks for the treatment I have received from Justin, the acupuncture for my gluteal muscle has really worked for me. After an accident I could not put pressure on my right leg so could hardly walk, stairs were impossible. But the acupuncture did the trick over several months, Justin has been very understanding and helpful I really thought I would never walk freely again. But that's in the past thanks to Justin.

I do not know how to put into words my gratitude to Justin for changing our life. Acupuncture seems to be much more than just a bread winning job for him. A medical professional has to discuss many personal things with their patients which can be embarrassing to both parties at times. But his control over the boundary between close talk and professionalism deserves a medal.

I can highly recommend Justin as a very professional and holistic practitioner. Justin has helped me with my insomnia by using a variety of remedies including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, diet advice and other useful lifestyle tips! He has helped me to re-establish healthy sleep patterns and I am very grateful 🙂

With the help of Justin i was able to stay away from surgery on a compressed disc in my back. It has been over 4 months since my injury and with his help and direction i have found the pain has subsided and i am able to get back to work and hopefully soon i will be back to Crossfit.

Justin is amazing! I was struggling to get pregnant after a miscarriage and within one month I fell pregnant with the weekly treatments. Highly recommend! :)
