I initially looked into Accupuncture as an alternative way to help myself and my body through my fertility journey. We had been unsuccessful in falling pregnant for years and had also had a late miscarriage during this period so we were keen to try anything to see if it would help. Not only did Serena ease my mind and support me to be relaxed and open she shared practical advice and became very in tune with my needs. I saw Serena every few weeks for 7 months and every time I left I felt a huge sense of peace. I would highly recommend Serena to anyone who is on their own fertility journey. She has been a calm in a very stormy sea.

I think it says a lot when a visit to the acupuncturist is one of the highlights of the week, but Serena provides a short retreat from the world and its concerns. Serena is empathetic, highly skilled, professional and, yes, serene. She soon got to the core of my presenting problem and sorted out a few other issues while she was at it. Acupunture is safe, painless and works on a deeper level than conventional medicine but the results speak for themselves. I'm very happy with my treatment with her and will miss my visits.

I discovered Mei Ling Accupuncture via a google search 6 months ago and have not regretted my choice one bit. Serena is the most wonderful person and a fantastic TCM practitioner. Her treatments and advice have been so beneficial for me mentally and physically and far exceeded my expectations. I started seeing Serena for treatment 6 months ago after she was recommended to me by a friend. I had spent the previous 12 months seeking various other treatments for an injury to my arm due to a fall with no real progress in terms of pain management. Within 3-4 treatments with Serena I could see a marked improvement in not only my pain levels but my overall movement and flexibility of the arm as well. Serena continues to help me manage the occasional flare up but I can happily say that I am pain free. I would highly recommend Serena to assist with your health and well being needs.

In 2016 a friend referred me to Serena for help with menopause. Later that year, I had been having some trouble with my throat, and a surgeon recommended a tonsillectomy. On one of my quarterly sessions with Serena, I mentioned my sore throat, and she did some acupuncture to help. The result was life-changing for me as the treatment triggered an instant swelling in the lymph node of my neck, which set off major alarm bells for the surgeon. This required a complete change of treatment plan and rather than having my tonsil surgically removed, I was referred to Oncology and diagnosed with cancer on my tonsil and lymph node. I underwent an intense course of chemotherapy and radiation. Serena's acupuncture, massage and nutrition advice throughout that period was integral to my healing journey. I still continue to see Serena for seasonal tune ups to keep my health on track.

I love the fact that you can have acupuncture, Chinese cupping & massage all in one session. Have had truely amazing results after seeing Serena for my frozen shoulder. I had been going to physiotherapy previously but had seen little improvement to mobility or reduction to pain. I have been going to Serena at Mei Ling Acupuncture for over two years now. I started going after I had a mountain bike accident. Before the first session I was not about to push myself up from the floor because of the stiffness in my upper back, this all changed after that very first session the tension I was experiencing had been relieved and didn't come back. I went to Mei Ling Acupuncture during winter 2019 to try and sort out my sinus issues and headaches. I couldn't believe even after my first visit how much clearer my sinus's were and I stopped taking pain killers as i no longer had headaches related to my sinus. Nicola did an amazing job. Very knowledgeable and gentle. The clinic is centrally located in Wellignton CBD so even better when I can pop put of the office for my appointments during the week.

Initially went to see Niki for pain from hayfever and related headaches as I was having two antihistamines a day plus sudofeds. I'm down to just one antihistamine and no pain. While she was there, she also has a crack at my shoulders, they'd been so tight for so long, I thought it was normal.
