Our team has had the pleasure of working with Tania over the past few years creating stories for children on outstanding New Zealanders during the 1800s. Given the historical nature of the project, Tania spends considerable time researching the appearance of the characters so that they are clearly reflected in the images she produces. The thing about Tania's work that we appreciate the most, is her ability to capture the features of the individual chiefs and leaders in our stories. Though her images are very simply drawn they still reflect each person's identity very well indeed. We have had compliments from indigenous leaders in this regard.
