Her plant selection and explanation of how to approach restructuring my garden helped me to approach my project with ease. Louise has a sound understanding of plants and an appreciation of working with the 'bones' of the garden to make my project more attainable and cost effective. Highly recommended!
H.We contacted Louise at Noble Fox because we were tired of living with a high maintenance, dark, damp back yard, dominated by a huge trampoline and dysfunctional sheds. Just looking at what needed to be done was so daunting that we had no idea where to start.
Louise looked at how we live as a family, what our priorities (and gardening abilities!) are, and what our south-facing site would allow for.
She created a design that totally “gets us”. She split the space into three defined areas (spa, bbq/dining and lawn for the children to kick a ball around) with planting to pull it all together, look lush, and that most importantly won’t take us an entire weekend to maintain. While we don’t live in the same city, her clear, concise drawings allowed us to tender the work out to local landscapers, and she was on hand to answer any initial questions that we or the landscapers had over the phone. Her knowledge of options for pavers, retaining walls, steps, plants, even lighting and pots, made it such a very simple process.
Work will soon be started, and our family can’t wait to see Louise’s designs come to life.
