D.Ferndale House is a nice place for meetings, parties, get to gethers and classes. Two big nice rooms are available in here for a very reasonable price. There is a nice garden to stay in relax, with huge old trees.. Come it us a nice place to relax. We have a traditional Sri Lankan dance class in here every Saturday at 3.30PM hosting by Dancing Angels NZ.
A.The community hall which has preserved the old architecture and layout. Great place for 25 to 30 people meeting. Has kitchen and toilets facilities.
S.Was here assisting a photoshoot and was impressed with the facility, oh... and it's got great character. It's well used by a lot of groups but is very clean. There's a functional kitchen in the small room and the large hall that you can hire. There's a piano in the large hall. You need to contact the council if interested in hiring.
B.I love historical buildings that have the original interior. Such big spacious rooms w wooden floors and massive corridor. I didn't get to see the whole house as I was at Ferndale for a last minute handcraft class. The surrounding area is nice, as usual with these historical places there's beautiful gardens and trees for a cool breeze. Located off a main road but you drive down a long driveway and the busy road is forgotten. I would definitely come here again just to visit even 🥰
D.I attended a presentation held here.. a little challenging if you have never been here before the entry for the vehicles is located in the corner of the streets.
The building is beautifully taken care of a small kitchen toilets large rooms for rent.

K.If you need an historic venue for a function, wedding or funeral, Ferndale House is hard to pass by. Good size rooms, great kitchen and toilet facilities and good parking. Definitely a five star self catering venue.
F.I've been there yesterday for Mrs Parvin funeral. It's looks pretty well organized hall for rent with enough car park n huge garden for kids playground.
A.Great venue to hold meetings and gatherings with the usual amenities. The lovely park outside adds up to its amazing attributes.
D.It's amazing to have this historic building available for hire. It's just a shame that the kitchen is so light on utensils, they didn't even have a teaspoon when we went in.
