Many friends suggested we go to this place. this buffet was so amazing. It is my favourite buffer. I went to many hotels, restaurant, many shops but I want to go back again. The food variety is not too much but they are full of quality. For taste, they are cook very well, would like to say home cook feeling. The restaurant is clean. The price is reasonable, not expensive. If you are looking for someplace for celebration. I would like to suggest you come here. 1. You do not need to prepare food and clean after. 2. The price is not expensive as I told you. 3. They have many seats. After lockdown, we will go back again for sure.

Swanson RSA is a very good community based club initially started by & for Returned Service people but in recent times it has expanded its membership base to include non service members. This is a great idea as it makes good use of its various amenities & social activities. A very good restaurant & a well stocked bar. Well worth a visit to check it out.

Had an amazing time. Staff friendly. Buffet and deserts spot on and well priced. Look forward to catching a band here in the future

Best chips I have had in a long time. Like, we are talking golden, crispy long as chips. And since you can pair them with the gravy right next to it. *Chefs kiss*

Great food and choices on sundays. Starter, seafood chowder, 3 choices of meat with lots of combinations of sides plus desert.

Great space for me to visit solo or as part of a group (function room for private functions - 200? capable). Clean modern fresh facilities. Pleasant cheerful friendly staff. First class food - even the smorgasbord simple but wow! Nice range of desert foods and "drinks". Outside tables also awesome ... Can watch the golf being played on the adjoining golf course.

Lovely restaurant excellent food great atmosphere

Swanson RSA hosted my wedding. Head Chef / buffet meal - I highly recommend the buffet menu. I heard so many complaints from all guests about how fresh and fantastic the food was. They had a great selection and there was more than enough for everyone. Bar staff - amazing! They worked well with us and our budget. We ended up doing subsidies drinks. Venue - when my mum first suggested the Swanson RSA I thought it would be run down. But I was surly mistaken everything so beautiful. The front entrance was beautifully presented especially with the lights all lit up. The Hall was a perfect size as we had 120 guests seated. The dance floor was a great size. The balcony overlooking the golf course was just stunning we got married in May (Autumn) the backdrop was beautiful! Nicola The Event Manager - was amazing she did such a great job! Communication was fantastic and her organisation skills are on point. She was very knowledgeable with the locations for photos after the ceremony. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the food and venue.

Great place to go ,extremely good food ,well worth a visit

I always love this RSA they are better Than others I have been to. Probably one of the best. Carvery is always my favorite and I always enjoy eating here. I wish they would bring back some of the fish bites on the Carvery, they took it off the menu and it was always one of my favorites. I wish they would serve Chicken as well in Carvery, but I'm just being extra fussy. Other than that really nice place to eat in at, always a good experience. Good value for money!

Used to go there for lunch every now and then, find the place nice and quiet and also relaxing. The restaurant is not always busy/full during lunches, likewise the bar and pokie room, only the regular people mainly the locals most days.

Nice and homely place to go with family for yummy Sunday lunch, Joy is a real joy to chat to whether it's over the phone or in person, settles you in with a beaming smile everytime, we kept returning for more family Sunday lunches, tops with excellent variety of hot and cold dishes, and yummy desserts too. Thanks Joy and we shall see you again soon. Beautiful setting outside and inside too, lovely atmosphere. This is our best RSA restaurant in the west. See you soon.

Fantastic place to enjoy a great meal and a quiet drink. Be there at 6pm and show your respect for our fallen soldiers as they recite the ode ❤️there's also facilities to hire for an event or just participate in the pool, golf or darts clubs...pretty much everything on offer here actually!

The best place for fresh buffet and great price only $21 for all you can eat soup main and dessert. Staff are warm and friendly. Love going here

We had a very nice meal. The atmosphere was good and the people were so friendly. Loved it.

This a good place for a meal and a reasonably priced drink. The buffet lunch is great value. It is a perfect venue for larger groups. There is a large carpark and because the Redwood Park golf course borders at the back there is a delightful rural ambiance in the dining area.

Went there for lunch Friday and 2our delight it was smorgasbord $22 Absolutely Amazing with choices of pudding 😋👌😀❤

Awesome place, excellent food and service, great staff and very friendly

Highly recommended to everyone, it was our first time for a family of 4 to have Sundays buffet here and we all had good compliments to share during our meal at the table, the price is really reasonable and we would definitely go again . THANK YOU

Warm, sunny, peaceful around newly built lovely town for cooling down heads, there is golfing fields right beside as well. just perfect for the sound of natural silences come with native bird's songs.

I arranged an 80yr birthday last Sunday with Joy, Rodney and Grace. We were 4 large tables of guests. Thanks to them the party was a great success. Even though they were so busy everything ran smoothly. The food was outstanding! Nothing ran out. The bar also ran smoothly with no mistakes. The price was good. The ambiance is good. I would have to rate them 100%. Would definitely keep them on our list for future events. I think the secret to the success is clearly explaining what you want as their attitude is definitely to do their best.

Always enjoy dining at this RSA, good selection of tasty food in carvery, plus well set out, friendly staff and ample parking.

A great facility it has a restaurant, bars and awesome staff. I play for the 8 ball club that runs downstairs on a Thursday night at 7pm and they are always welcoming to new members. There is also Quiz night first Thursday of each month. Very reasonably priced food and drink and you can get a great burger and chips for $8 with a big homemade patty.

We had a lovely meal here on our village trip, well worth a visit.

Quite a nice buffet selection , I think it is worth the $20.50 for lunch the beef with mushroom sauce was particularly yum and the desert options were good. Definitely a good place for the older people who like more traditional style foods

Good food. Was confusing re the carvery as what appeared to be a buffet was actually a buffet salad (and hot veg) with single meat serving... this needs more clarification. Otherwise great value, excellent food

Delicious, smorgasboard lunch. Very good selection, and very reasonably priced. Good range of desserts, all to be washed down with a cup of tea or coffee. The bar has a good range of beers on tap, or from the 'fridge. The Swanson RSA would surely be one of the best situated, as it is right next to the Redwood Park golf club.

Great place for functions

Lovely buffet lunch. Very popular as is shown by large crowds on a Wednesday afternoon. Although we waited out the que in the bar, still plenty of food left. Nice ambience.

Food was delicious wasn't expecting much but was nicely surprised will be dining in again.

This is one of the best RSA'S in Auckland.It has a gaming room,restaurant which makes fantastic meals for lunch and dinner.There is a games room downstairs with pool tables as well.There are 2 bars with televisions for sport and a smokers area outside.

One of the best RSA restaurants. Open for lunch dinner Thur to Sun. No hot drinks outside of meal hours apart from coin dispensing coffee machine. Has weekend dance bands or live entertainment. Available for birthday meal bookings.

Very spacious, clean and friendly with a great selection of beers. Swanson RSA has three great bars, a billiard and darts room and is a fantastic venue for any imagineable occasion.

We have attended Swanson RSA about half a dozen times now and have only ever been impressed. It has the distinct advantage of being a new building compared to other RSAs and is stylishly well designed. The dining facilities are of a high standard with a good-value carvery but other top class dishes too especially the fish, and the whole restaurant is very professionally operated. The different areas, dining, bar and sports tv, large function room are cleverly separated so the noise / smells of one evemt area do not impact on another. Management is very present and unassumingly attentive so one gets the feeling no one will get passed the door who will lower the tone.

Located in a lovely setting with outside area surrounded by a golf course, wonderful atmosphere, venue great for private parties and best of all: A good selection of food and friendly staff.

The Swanson RSA is located near the golf course providing good views during dinner. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. It is one of the better RSA's that I have visited and would certainly recommend.

The band was awesome but too many women not enough men go there it's like going to a hens party. Why do men not go there . Aussie rsa are fantastic . Why is our a fuddy Duddy esa sad I recon.

My son and I enjoy a lovely lunch there at least twice a month, and hone our pool skills on the tables. Very friendly staff, and patrons too.

Held 30th Reunion here for Waitakere Master Swimmers. Food was very nice and plentiful. Good function area with dance floor.

Food has definitely Improved. I will be back. Bar service is still very very slow with uninterested staff (most of them at least) at the helm. This needs to improve.

l attended a function over there, it's on the main Swanson road, l like it as it's very easy to find and with large well lighted car parking and large lounges inside.

This R.S.A is probably the most modern of other R.S.A. it also has a good mix of young and old members .The meals are superb there is also live music and dancing the staff a very friendly and helpfuf i highly recomend you pay a visit you wont be dissapointed

Friendly and helpful service. We celebrated my dads 80th Birthday here and the buffet was well planned and delicious with many options! Great value for money! The service team were great at accommodating our needs with refrigerating a very large cake until we were ready! Covid rules were enforced and followed with vaccine passports being checked on arrival.
