H. Z.Beautiful camp with so many trees and river! They have playing ground for so many activities!
G. G.Superb camp for the kids. Awesome food, great activities and helpful/friendly instructors. Safety was at the front of all activities which was great. My son and I had a sensational time here. I came here 2 years ago with my daughter and everything is still really well run.

S.Set at the foothills of Hunua Ranges, Camp Adair is a great spot for group activities for schools, corporates etc. With a wide range of activities including archery and shooting the events are well coordinated by YMCA facilitators. The camp has ample space for lodging including cabins with bunk beds and mattresses. The kitchen has enough space to hold a group of 100. The bridge across the stream take you to the best outdoor activity spot - Mud Slide!!
A. K.Really amazing place for big group or church for a getaway. Two grounds for outdoor game, river rafting and other outdoor activities on request. Place for camp fire and so many other things.
Cabins are good but can get very cold. So heater in the cabins so you need good sleeping bags. Good and clean toilets. Highly recommended place.
Kitchen and cutleries available too.

A. R.My two kids have had the week there and they had nothing but good memories. Caution if your child has glasses ensure you tell them to keep it in there cabin or give them to instructors before they go down the mud slide hahahah we lost a pair and there is a very low chance of getting them back hehhehe but overall kids had a blast and the team did very well to accommodate our kids. Definitely will try get them in again for next holidays

d.From what I hear in the reviews the rooms weren't great but I was only there for a one day trip so I didn't experience that. Very limited activities which was acceptable because of how fully booked it was due to covid.

M. F.My son just had a college camp there and he had alot of fun but some feedback that does need attention asap is to find a way to make the cabins alot warmer.
My son has been to places where it has been freezing and he is naturally a very warm bodied person but he said he has never been so cold in his life all night, both nights he stayed. And now he is a very sick young man....I thought at this time of year it wouldnt be that cold and a good outdoor sleeping bag would be enough but no way near enough!
Maybe the owners/organisers need to advise the group that are staying that they need a sleeping bag and a blanket or even better a heater installed in the cabin or insulate the walls and windows/doors more?
S. R.Great camp for kids. Fantastic instructors and activities. Cold in winter. No power or heating in most bunk rooms. If you are going as an adult take power boards as there are few power points in shared areas.

A. H. (.What an awesome school camp I've just been on here at Camp Adair! Amazing friendly staff and instructors. Blown away with the delicious food they serve. And after such horrible damage from the storm earlier in the year they have bounced back and have made it fabulous again! Loved everything about it. Thank you! 👍🏻😊
D. P.After the flood and refurbishments they now have no power points in the dorms. The heater I took with me was of no value. Charging phones and such can only be done from the two available points in the dining room. The large hall has a concrete floor and is very cold.

J. M.Fantastic for groups of all ages, had heaps of things set up for gets e.g. coarses and mudslides but also great for young adults as there is granted permission for alcohol and bonfires in between the rooms and common rooms
