C.Great food for value. Must try ribs and seafood chowder when you go to the RSA.
H.My daughter and I recently had joint milestone birthday celebrations, upstairs in the private function room 'The Poppy Club'. This is an excellent venue for a modest 50 - 100 people. Great facilities, accommodating staff, great food. Nothing was a problem and really good communication. Many thanks to the team you made our party a very memorable event. Cheers Hilary & Casey
M.As a RSA Service member I dropped in here one day to visit and relax. It was a nice atmosphete, friendly and helpful bar staff and a certainly good environment.
They offer meals although I never had one I was told by patrons they were really quite good. Located in the CBD parking is always a challenge.

M.Plesantly suprised. First plate of ribs were tasty and tender(4.5/5), 2nd plate was tougher and less flavoursome (2/5), meals well Priced, modern looking place with good selection of drinks. If the 2nd plate of ribs were the same as the 1st plate I would give a 4.5. realistically its a 3.5 but good enough for another try.
C.A good facility in the centre of town. Reasonably priced restaurant/cafe with good food and service. Far more than the traditional RSA, and very welcoming to the public as well. The oldest RSA in new Zealand!
