Reviews of Kai Iwi Lakes Resort
M.Very good experience for first time glamping. The tent is so comfortable in summer nights. If you bring your own battery bank then you could spend more time in the tent rather than in the shared living room. In middle of the night you may have to travel out of the tent to the shared toilet. In the next morning inside the tent is bit cold and humid. Other than these, we had a lovely time and took lots of photos. Love the lama on the farm and fruit trees like fig, avocado, olive, pear, etc. There is also a big playground for kids.

C.Kai Iwi Lakes, a surprise birthday for my 70th! What an awesome place to stay! Five houses booked and plenty of room for all my family. The houses were outstanding, clean tidy, beautifully decorated and themed and displayed. Owners very friendly, and gave us great service. I would love to come back for another stay one day <3
S.Highly recommended. All we had to do was bring our clothes and food and everything else was provided in the holiday house. House was very clean and the resort itself very child friendly with heaps of space for the kids to run around, also has a nice playground where my children spent so much time at. Kai Iwi lakes is a couple minute drive from the resort, the resort also provides many hire options from Kayaks to Jetskis for use at the lakes- very convenient 😀
Last but not least the resort is run by a very hospitable couple that welcomed us and left us to it giving everyone their own space yet they were just a text/walk away when required.
Looking forward to coming back again ❤
M.Had to cancel our booking due to Covid levels changing and owners were understanding and prompt with our refund. We are definitely going to book to stay with them. Great customer service

R.Great lake. White sand... the water can sometimes be dangerous though.
