Place is a little confusing to get around but the staff were very helpful. Sad how all the cats are in such tiny cages but as long as people are constantly taking them out to play then it should be alright. I wish all the animals well into their new homes ❤️

Such an amazing place and yesterday (11 September ) I had to ring up about an injured Duck the lady who came out was totally amazing and she was so nice the staff at the center are always helpful big thumbs up to the Spca for everything they do

Looked after my elderly cat after she had been found by a concerned passerby. Lovely staff. Nice facilities. Would be great if we didn't need them, but glad they are here.

Got a 1 year pup 4 weeks today. The team were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They do a great job for the animals with little appreciation. So thanks heaps and Charlie says a double woof of thanks as he's loving his new life.

After months of talking about getting a kitten we not only found the one right for us but we found two!! My partner wanted a fluffy black and white little man and i dreamed of having another ginger.... SPCA dunedin were amazing we told them we potentially wanted to take a bonded pair and they said they would keep us in mind. I remember seeing the boys gilbert and star ( now known as smokey(black) and bandit(ginger) on the website and my partner ringing as soon as we saw them and he said that the SPCA were just about to ring us! Guess it was meant to be. Thankyou team you gave us everything we had been missing.

They have a great place for the animals, all animals were properly taken care of and just a great little area they are in perfect environment for the animals. Also I saw a wild rabbit outside and he was not bothered by me they obviously take care of it as it was not bothered by the car or me and my family. Great job SPCA Dunedin 👍

Good place but cattery is (fortunately) not very diverse. Possibly seasonal but it seems most of the cutest and most interesting cats are given to the pet stores.
