Lovely park up, roosters friendly, good base to explore the surrounding area Kauri museum, Mangawhai walks, beach Piroa Falls etc

There are two big rugby fields with flood lights, a big event facility with a bar, and also nice changing rooms with showers. If you feel like a walk, you can use the walkway which is well maintained, and has great views.
