J.Handy to cafes and The Plaza, this venue has a lot of history. The red upholstered circular seat in the front room is rather special. Grandmasters of the Lodge look down from the picture rail. The Honours Boards give some idea of age of the Lodge and list names of the area.
There is a large kitchen serving hatch.
The toilets are ok but the door doesn't shut easily.
There are two meeting rooms of different sizes. A wood panelled folding door can be pulled back to make one room. Plenty of room for speakers and display tables of services/goods.
The upright wooden chairs are the kind I would have sat on in my Granny's kitchen, some have padded seats.
There was microphone and screen which may have been hired. The speaker stood at a lectern.
R.Lovely old building. Not overly ornate inside. Great bunch of guys
