Stopped by during my Te Araroa hike. It's great that you guys offer to hold TA bounce boxes, thanks so much for doing that! A great setup for TA hikers to stay overnight or just have a shower and a pizza 👌🏼 although I was gutted to not have a vegetarian pizza option when I arrived, I had been dreaming of that for days 😂 make sure you mention if you are vege when you buy the TA bounce box service online!

In addition to being an outdoor education experience, this is also the trailhead to the St. James Walkway - a glorious 5 day tramp. Great place to start for those looking to get into tramping.

Stayed there for a night to collect my food parcel when I was walking Te Araroa around new years 2017. Their was a wonderful women who was working there, she was very helpful. Nice place to clean my clothes and shower.
