L.It was closed. We happened upon this marae. Not from the area...we spotted from a higher road view an interesting old church building..so we ventured down these narrow streets to this Church... And war veteran urupa area memorial. Interesting.. a very friendly fluffy as cat came Happily running towards me...I patted it... He followed me around and met my husband who was looking at the tombs and names.
g.Quiet little nook, within minutes of town, peaceful yet geothermal action at every hand, and spiritual too.
