Great walking around inside, looking at all the historical photos of amazing catches. Beauty to relax playing pool while awaiting dinner. Food was A+

A different experience to some of the other restaurants around Russell. Try and get a table on the deck at sunset as the views over the bay are amazing. The service was quick and the seafood good.
Don't worry if you're not a member as you just have to sign a book and you're in!

The second oldest angling-club of its kind in the world I was told. Zane Grey caught his world record here. The exhibition of taxidermy, pictures and trophies is simply stunning. A must see for any angling enthusiast. Russell is a gorgeous village with superb gastronomy.

Fantastic, great seafood, and ribs, plus the service was off the chart, for a family friendly casual location, at a great price.

Great balcony & a sensational view. Great spot for a glass of wine or a beer with a dozen oysters. Superb! Enjoy a relaxed dinner above the craziness of the street below and surrounded by amazing mounted trophy fish. No worries if you’re not a member, they welcome guests. Ended up being our favorite place to eat in Russell.

Although under Level 2 restrictions the Club was still able to provide its usual friendly service and good quality meals.

What a place, if you're into fishing memorabilia this place is a visual feast, also the kitchen did a great job of "cook your catch" with some entress and nice wine, we sat out on the balcony and feated and drank and had a great time, can't wait to go back!
