Went to restaurant. Food plentiful but not that nice (had the fish). A chip fell off plate and stayed on the floor in aisle for entire meal despite staff walking over/past it.

Wow what a feast we had at Shunters tonight... We all dined on Rib Special and yummy desserts. Amazing value for quality service and great food.

This Cosmopolitan club is a beaut place to go by yourself, with friends, your partner or family. Situated on large grounds with ample parking surrounded by nature just a short walk from the town centre. It incorporates a T.A.B, Shunters Restaurant, Bars and large indoor entertainment area.

The waiuku cosmopolitan club has been a very popular place for many years great entertainment inside and out many activities including pool darts bowls snooker dancing live bands and the pokey machine including horse racing great family restaurant and family place heaps of fun pleasent friendly staff awesome live bands toilets available plenty of parking and have even had market stuff for sale highly recommend to all

Went for steak or ribs night but unfortunately no ribs!!! But the Scotch Filter was yummy and the peppercorn sauce devine (very peppery - just as I like it!!). You no longer get a free beer or wine now due to licencing laws but you can have a free noon alcoholic beverage. Worth a visit for a reasonably priced and tasty meal.

Attended 4 parties here. That roast they have is A++++++. Im here waiting for the next event. Thanks to the staff too!

Good value and variety of activities such as dancing, pool, darts, etc. However the bar lady lacked any form of customer service skills (bloody rude lady tbh), our food was cold and the burger patties were unfortunately raw. I would recommend basic retraining for the bar lady and I'm sure reading this post will help the kitchen staff to improve (as it was busy and mistakes are sometimes made). Last visit the food was awesome, bar lady was the same 🙄 Hope this review helps. . Would I go again? Yep, I would give it another shot and may revisit this review.

Visited the restaurant tonight for the steak or rib night. 30 mins after opening and they were out of ribs. Restaurant wasnt even full. Bit disappointing. Steak meal was good and a good price.
