I am a regular visitor To the Whakatane RSA Inc. Cookies Kitchen is the restaurant which shares the Building. Today I decided to eat Lunch from Cookies Kitchen, I felt like Fish and Chips and was blown away by the presentation, the service from Moerangi and todays chef Kerri, being of English origin Fish and Chips are personally special. Todays meal was up there, wonderfully crisp batter, perfectly cooked fish, still moist and the chips were to die for, presented with 2 lemon slices and a wonderful tartare sauce. I cleaned the plate and complemented the kitchen staff. Well satisfied. Well done girls. It's a great day when one enjoys a nice meal out.

I truly enjoyed my drinks as staffs are helpful and fun. She made my drinks according to my taste and i love it so much! Definitely will come back!

Lovely yummy food. Best place to go for a meal. Quick service. Prices are average to just over average.

Stayed in Whakatane overnight in early May. Popped into the RSA for diner and a few. Diner was amazing. Choice of three roast meals for only $15.00 and around of drinks for the two of us was $7.00. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend.

A great club with excellent facilities, and highly regarded restaurant. Numerous adjuncts (interest groups) including: cards, pool, fishing, travel etc.

Meal was excellent. Steak was perfect. Shame that the noise of draws was distracting and loud though. Otherwise very good. Not a lot of waiting time for meals.

We had a lovely meal and enjoyed ourselves, apart from having to listen to a bunch of kids hooning around on the dance floor. When we go out we want to enjoy ourselves in an adult establishment - it is actually not a childrens' playground!!

Clean and tidy. Great kai. Broad menu. Short wait even tho' the place was packed on a Tues evening. Children allowed. Diners don't have to be RSA members.

We had the most sumptuous buffet meal here on Boxing Day. An incredible range with salads, seafood, roast lamb and desert. With a friendly kitchen and waiting staff, this must be one of the best places to eat in Whakatane. Will be coming back.

Hi,6 of us dined at whakatane rsa....2 had the pork rack meal at $27 per meal.I thought a pork rack was a rack of chops,at last 3,,,NO this was 1......1/2 inch pork chop on mash kumera,water cress and jus.. ,such a shame,complained to lady management.the rest of us had no complaints, management should be doing there job,and checking what leaves there survery...our nite was spoilt...🙂

Quality dinning at affordable rates with sparkling amenities. Staff are friendly and cheerful and the mini steak meal was perfect 👌
