I cannot speak more highly of our experience here . The service was outstanding . Our daughter has alot of food allergies and they went over an above for her . Special thanks to Taru for her amazing personality. Her kindness and understanding. As I work in a restaurant I understand how busy and hard it is to accommodate everyone and she has done this with ease . The food was amazing and all the staff were fantastic. From a worried and over paranoid mum . I just want to thank you all so much xx

Had my Mother-in-laws 80th birthday here. A very good meal of a generous serving size. Service was generally good except the bar lady who a number of people had a rude experience with her. We would go back again as everyone had a great time.

Once bitten twice shy. Must have picked wrong night again, we were visiting in January now known as Club Metro which is Cossie and RSA combined. Were turned away at door 7.30pm in January as had function on which required ticket to enter however no where was sign to say possibility closed to private function. So we went elsewhere. So we visited twice once on Friday night and again Saturday due to sports tournament. Sat ordered and paid for entrée and 2 main meals at $56 after 20 minutes person who served me came to apologize 1 main sold out previously, took small refund reordered another option that was smaller than others we had purchased at other clubs. Then really make our night wife won sizeable amount on the pokies advise bar staff hopper was empty for payout. No one at bar for service or waiting and they continued to clear up dishes / 👓 at return area. Wife waited 20 minutes so we advised 2 executive's who were in club , well bang staff member was seen rushing out to sort it out. This just annoyed us after our last visited in January. However will call again if in Wanganui as we are both RSA members

We recently had a 21st, the venue and service was great. We used the Rotary Room which was great as we had a few small children. We had a choice of buffet or off the menu and could play our own music, have speeches in private. Thank you Club Metro.

Excellent place to visit, day or night. Friendly staff and a great variety of things to do for the family. A first class restaurant is on site which caters for the most discerning tastes. A good variety of entertainment is put on each Friday and Saturday nights so you can dance the night away to your hearts content.

Ok nice place. Meals have improved since the merger but don't expect a lot. Even if you ask and pay for more you probably won't get much more. Otherwise good place for a beer and to unwind

I found the food cold and the plates were cold. This would be fine if I'd ordered a salad. Unfortunately I ordered a hot meal. I asked for my meal to be heated, this they did. But very cold beans were rather off putting. 🙁
