Our family of three stayed in Bayside Motel Whitianga for the last week of school summer holidays in 2022. We can not fault this place. From an excellent location, proximity to the beach and town, friendly and attentive hosts, to clean, modern and well equipped rooms. Off street parking, large bathroom, very quiet AC. Thank you Robyn and Warren for helping us with the medical issue we were suddenly facing and with recommendations of places to visit. We felt very welcome.

Beautiful place. We stayed for 3 nights. Very tidy, large bathroom and comfortable beds. Beach across the road as well. The owner gave us a map of where the best beaches were. We went to all of them. Was awesome. Enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend staying here. We will definitely be back 🥰

Awesome hosts. Very accommodating to our needs. Would recommend. Not in heart of town so no noise. But across Rd from beach. Perfect. An can walk to town along the beach as long as it not high tide ha ha

Excellent hospitality. Clean and spacious room. Closer to all shops and restaurants. Wharf if only 4 mins. drive. We enjoyed a lot and recommend others as this place is value for price. Only 1 negative point is parking of vehicle is bit tight but that can be ignored.

We had a studio unit upstairs. There for 2.nights. Beautiful room. Lovely and clean. Large bathroom. Right across the road from the beach. Everything we needed for our stay. Would stay again definitely

Lovely and Clean Motel, Warren was most accommodating and understanding during the covid outbreaks, highly recommend staying here. firstly the shower pressure is amazing. and the location is awesome right across from the beach. thanks again Warren for the great accommodation

Lovely motel. Great room for our family with a queen bed in lounge and beds in separate bedroom for kids. Friendly owners and great location.

We've stayed at the Bayside Motel three times now and always had a lovely experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely presented, with all the facilities you need. The beds are comfortable, it's quiet and in a great location, right near the beach and a short drive into town (not too far to walk, either). The bathrooms are nicely presented, powerful showers, and I was impressed with the refillable soap and shampoo dispensers - very environmentally friendly! Lovely hosts too. Will definitely be back.

Five of us stayed in the 3 bedroom family apartment and it was superb! Great deck and views, spotlessly clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and couches. Great location, close to the beach. Walking track to town on the beachside. The owners were friendly and helpful. One of the best places we've stayed as a family of 5.

Great stay in Whitianga for 2 nights...supremely clean and tidy room and grounds. Very comfortable, right across the road from the beach, couple minutes drive to the township. Definitely recommended for family stays. Thank you Robyn!

This was the second time we have stayed here and we were not disappointed. The units are tidy and well-equipped. We particularly like the kitchen which had ample space and allows for preparing straight forward meals. Warren & Robyn are lovely and great hosts. Highly recommended.

We loved it so much we have a high need child and she requires wheelchair and she was able to be just carry inside the house was nice and flat for us it had everything we need. I would suggest one thing is iron. House was beautiful and very clean highly recommended and also very cheap.

Perfect for my stay overnight ahead of running in the Whitianga Half Marathon. Very clean and comfortable. Great shower. Nice touches such as full size hairdryer. Very friendly helpful check in. Highly recommend. You have to back out of the driveway to get out so if you are a nervous at reversing maybe park outside the complex.

The motel is nice and easy to find. The room was beautiful and clean. Cannot fault the shower - its the greatest pressure that we've ever seen, excellent. Plus the bed was more than comfortable - the best nights sleep we've had on our holiday so far. Recommended heartily by us. C'mon NZers get out and about and support NZ.

Perfect location, a mere stones throw from the beach. Ideal walking distance with our paddle boards. We were fortunate to stay in the 3 bdrm apartment with balcony. Our accommodation was clean, spacious and so much more than we were expecting. As owner of a cleaning business - I'm fussy, have an eye for detail and was really impressed with the high standard. The beds were just divine, with top quality pillows & linen (we felt spoilt!). Fabulous showers with amazing water pressure! (good for the soul when traveling!) Really lovely, genuine owners. Loved the local beaches and township, such a laid back community. My kids would like to add, they really appreciated the unlimited WiFi and thank you for having Netflix! We'll definitely be back to stay, as it suits all our needs and its not easy finding a place that just feels 'right'. Thanks for a memorable stay x

The motel is very close to town and even closer to the beach. It is very neat and tidy with great service. The rooms are a great size and the breakfast is enough and great. We had nothing to complain about our visit at this great place. The owner is such a friendly person i could stay much longer as he makes you feel at home. Thank you for a awesome stay at a great place. We loved the shower, hahaha

Stayed at Bayside Motel last Friday night when in the area with a mate. I fully recommend it for warm friendly service from Robyn and Warren, the spacious, impreccably clean and beautifully presented unit, the very adequate (free of charge) breakfast products provided, and the world's gruntiest shower! Warren also pointed us towards an excellent local bar and eatery. When next in Whitiangi I'll stay there again without doubt.

Expensive but 1st class spot

Such a clean, tidy place with everything you would need. Warren was such a lovely man and no problems at all. Me and my family will defs be coming back
