The service and workmanship is top-notch (5 stars) - chip repairs are great, too. Unfortunately, my replacement windscreen has some sort of film/coating on it which requires cleaning every 2 weeks. Took the car in and they said it's just dirt getting on there. Doesn't explain why I never had to clean my old windscreen (maybe once a year). Hopefully it's a one-off.

Parking is a pain as its carpark is already full of cars waiting for repair. The mechanic didn't seem keen and appeared a bit snobby and rude, but the receptionist was very helpful hence 3 stars.

Said it would take an hour - it literally took exactly an hour. It's more like 3 and a half stars; this was the first chip I had repaired and I didn't realise the repair wouldn't change how the chip looked. The guy who returned my car said nothing and it was a little unhelpful. No paperwork, no mention of whether they communicate with my insurance company or if I need to etc. Car passed a WOF 2 weeks later so obviously I'm satisfied the repair is right, I just didn't feel particularly comfortable... Eventually did a good job, but re booked twice, took 3 weeks to get new windscreen. Only one staff qualified to do new windscreens.

Cracked windscreen repaired. Covered by my insurance. Before work was started I was warned as an old car some rust may have to be attended to and in that event Novus would arrange for the car to be taken to a panel beater. Rust was found. Novus supplied an accurate quote and did everything they could for the work to be completed in shortest time as possible. I found Novus staff friendly and helpful. Excellent workmanship. Thank you.

Very friendly, $100 cheaper than Smith & Smith for 1 passenger side back window fitted. Fitted it the next day, where Smith & Smith were going to take 3 days before they could do it. Well done Novus Newtown.
