Amazing service here yesterday. I called up the day before prepared to book for the following week as all other mechanics in the area were busy, but AA Hobson St were able to slot me in next day for my WOF and service. I dropped off my car early at 8:30am (scheduled for 11am) and they got my car done quickly at around 10am and even gave me an update on the phone promptly after completion. This made the whole process stress free as I was able to fit my WOF around my work schedule. Now, here's where they really went above and beyond. I have a noise in the front of my car when I go above 90km p/h. I brought this up with the receptionist, and she said they'd look into it. I was 100% expecting to pay extra, as such as request is not included in the bronze service, and I'd be using up their valuable labour time. To my surprise, they found time to bring my car onto the motorway up to 90km p/h, check the mechanics and give me a report, all for free. The mechanic was knowledgeable and honest when I asked any questions. They weren't able to fix my mechanical issue, but they happily referred me to another mechanic who probably would be able to fix it. They could've easily used my situation for a cash grab, but they didn't. I appreciate the referral. It's good sport on their behalf. The WOF and servicing isn't as cheap compared to other mechanics, but the service makes up for it. One thing I'd appreciate is if the reception stayed open till 5:30pm. As most people tend to finish work at 5:00pm, it just makes it easier to find time to pick up the keys. Though totally understandable if this can't be done, as the staff probably want to get home as well! Keep up the great work team!

Best auto center in Auckland! Always happy with their services. I was not usually visit continuously to go to same auto center but I have been to AA on Hobson street about 3 years. They always give us clear information even I visited them today under level 3. All of them are very reliable and professional, including receptionist lady:)

Mike and Chen have been servicing my Land Rover Discovery for a couple of years now. They are always honest, reliable and upfront with fair pricing. I have good visibility of what maintence work is coming and I take their reccomendations on both required and proactive work. Always a good experience and a handy location for people working in the CBD. Some more work coming your way soon guys.

Mike and Chen have been great to deal with over the last year with servicing and installing parts on my Jeep, very good communication, very very fast to complete work no matter what it is and at a fair price. After poor service and a display of questionable integrity from the dealer where I bought my vehicle from, I took my vehicle to AA Auto Centre Hobson Street to investigate faults with the rear wiper and boot door central locking. AA diagnosed and repaired the problem within an hour. These guys are honest, friendly, professional and competent and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Well done and many thanks.

Came here a few times for WoF and maintenance services, and had great experience on each visit! Booked online, walked in with warm welcome, easy drop-off, easy pick-up, and always felt safe. It's simply one of the best auto service in the city, so highly recommended.

Really happy with my bronze service and WOF. Was given a comprehensive run through of my car and what work it would require in the future and why. Alex was exceptional in explaining everything in lay terms which made me feel empowered.

In all the 7 years of owning my Suzuki Splash it never drove or operated well until it had its first service done by AA Hobson Street. Mike went above & beyond and took the time to explain faults he discovered. They're outstanding I would highly recommend anyone with a Suzuki to book a service with AA Hobson you will not be disappointed. Detailed explanation and inspection, great people and service. Booked in for a platinum service this weekend, everything was done efficiently and gave me a really detailed explanation of what I need to look out for, what the condition of my car is, what they went through. Excellent job. Would definitely come back for future servicing.

The team is always so helpful. My latest service was before a long drive. With only hours to go they got me serviced, new sparks, battery and wheel balance before I went. On top of all that friendly guys.

They are fast and responsible. I found AA Auto Centre Hobson Street offering a good price and quality of service. They did my car service sooner than the expected time. Because it’s located in the CBD, you can go to the other shops while leaving your car there. In the reception area, there is an automatic coffee machine. Staff communication and behaviour were great.

Have taken my car here twice and received great service both times. The staff are friendly and I was given a detailed explanation of the issues and associated costs. Would definitely recommend.

We were on a vacation and stopped for an oil change. After the oil change and a short check ride, when the 95 Honda CRV was lifted the owner mechanic called us over to see a problem. He advised us that he had added over two liters of transmission fluid when he was servicing the car. Now there was fluid all over the underneath. Furthermore the radiator was leaking too. Mike Rail (the mechanic) then managed to troubleshoot and fix the transmission problem, change the radiator, and put in new spark plugs. This was all accomplished within the rest of the day so we were on our way the next morning. We were amazed with the billing, under a $1000.00 for an awful lot of time and outstanding service. We would certainly recommend this business for any auto work. Well done Mike. You are a ten star business as far as we are concerned!

Very honest mechanics! I took a van that I just bought for service here and they probably saved my life by telling me that my van was unsafe and shouldn't have a WOF. They accepted to let the NZTA officer inspect my van at their place too (who revoked the WOF, the AA mechanic was right). I will come back for sure!

Fast service and friendly staff. as I realised, people read this, so adding details: scheduled via website 4 dec, confirmed on 6th Dec for Saturday 7th dec 8am service. we had the silver package and availed the engine flush and change air engine filter. Everything was ready by 9:15am.
