m.We found Graham & his team a few years ago. After using many mechanics in the past for our many company vehicles, I can comfortably say you will net get a better option than these guys. They do what's needed, not more, they look at how to save you money, are friendly & very helpful. They often dont charge for those simple little things... We have now moved further away but I will still continue to use Brownings. Well done & thanks for this last job. Martin

S.It was my first time getting my WOF done in New Zealand, and Graham and the team made me feel very comfortable. The whole team are really friendly and professional. Graham even worked over time to make sure I got my wof passed today, which I really appreciate. I like that they explain the costs and what you need, and don't just slam you with a big bill at the end.

I.I was up from Dunedin visiting my daughter and after driving her car realized she had a rear bearing making unpleasant noises. My daughter is new to the area and doesn’t know a local mechanic. I found Graham on google maps and after reading the reviews decided to drop round to get him to check out the car. Graham turned out to be just what I was looking for , an honest, reliable and capable mechanic. He diagnosed the problem, sorted the repairs promptly and the cost was as per the quote. Our Swift made an awful crack noise as I turned into a carpark - thankfully we were just around the corner from Brownings and they were able to immediately assess the car (handy when i had my 1 and 3 year old in the car!), diagnose that the shock had snapped, source the part and do a same day repair! They charged for exactly the time they spent on the car, down to the quarter hour - incredible.
Hands down the best service, and it's so nice to be supporting a local family business.
Hubby has said we won't be going anywhere else, and he's pretty fussy with mechanics (AND you're around the corner from Crave Cafe, another win in my books!).
If you're looking for a decent mechanic with quality workmanship, who is friendly and honest, with a lovely team of people working there, look no further!

J.Our Corolla needed some working on brakes. Called up a few places and chose Browning Automotive as they gave me a good quote on the phone. Price was lower than elsewhere. The rotors needed skimming and the extra was communicated before starting on the job. Had the car back by midday. These guys are my local mechanics now
