Fredco are honest, reliable and experts at what they do! They always give you the options of what needs replacing/doing on your vehicle before doing it. My car comes back clean, with the tyres shiny and with a pack of lollies - always pretty happy about that!

Amazing service. I have been working with Craig and Carl on my organisations fleet of cars and was so impressed I took my own vehicle in, as I truly felt I could trust them. I wasn't sure what was wrong with my vehicle but the team found and repaired the issue really quickly and professionally, it was not the cheapest issue to have but I was priced fairly and felt confident in their assessment and value for money. They are also just genuinely nice people to deal with. I can safely say, I would ever go anywhere else in Auckland again. Thanks so much guys and girls! In the nicest way possible... I was originally referred to Craig and Fredco back in the 90s when they were at Beaumont St. Most knowledgeable, honest, flexible who acted with empathy when times were tough. High level of quality in what they do. We went overseas for 11yrs and the above is what kept me loyal to them after returning home last year, and we live in Titirangi. Case Study: Bringing our car back from overseas the nearest available workshop to the Sth Auckland importer was Auto Super Shoppe to complete checks prior to getting it registered etc at VTNZ. A noticeable clunk sound came from underneath after driving away, to which Auto Super Shoppe assessed after 45mins, that it required work and would cost around $160 to pinpoint the issue and repair. I’d had enough, rang Craig and drove straight to Fredco in Kingsland. 15mins after arriving, they had found that one suspension bar hadn’t been tightened properly. They sorted it without charge. I could go on but simply won’t go anywhere else. Have your wits about you as the lovely ladies in reception will match it. A great team

Craig and the team at Fredco Motors were extremely diligent, professional and helpful. They sorted me out with 4 new Bridgestone tyres and a wheel alignment at the best rate in town and then went above and beyond to help me out with my warrant in the middle of the busy Christmas rush. Would highly recommend to my friends and family!

Have been a Fredco customer many times over the past decade and always had top quality professional service at a reasonable price. Most recently they replaced the clutch in my Mitsubishi triton for half the cost quoted at Andrew Simms newmarket from where I purchased the car. Andrew Simms also said that they would need the car for 3 days. Fredco did it all in one day and provided me with a courtesy car at short notice. Needless to say, I can’t recommend Fredco enough.

fredco was magnificent ,my car was fixed and ready for pick-up in under 2 hours. I dropped it off at 3pm the afternoon the day before I was booked in and the rang less than 2 hours later and said the repair was done and ready to go. way cheaper than I expected. so I was exstatic. Clean tidy professional business. Good staff, staff all in uniform makes for a empressive look. Quote given then to the nearest 300 dollars. Thats good for a complete air conditioning job plus oil and filter. Prices are very reasonable time frame is great,car checked Tuesday job to be done Tuesday the 18th one week later.A very good job on the air conditioning unit replacement regas and everything else that goes with it.When they'll took it for a test run they noticed that it was losing power. They phoned said the problem was the plugs or coil, Lucky it was the plugs and a lead. Price was great between 1500& 2000 grand witch was very good . The air conditioning unit was $580.00 before he even started.

Always informed in advance if there is an issue and given a future plan of service required in future. My car was serviced 29 September 2021 under strict Covid conditions and it was seamless. It is the place to take your car for honest reliable consistently great service.

I took my car for a WOF and service during level 4 as I’m a essential worker and needed it for work. They were great, they fit me in the next working day, Craig let me know all the cost before completing the work and even split it up into things that needed to be done now and things that could wait till another day so that the cost wasn’t overwhelming. I’ve been taking my car here for a few years and every time they are professional, friendly, explain everything so well and the pricing is really affordable. I will be a customer for as long as I live in Auckland!

Their service showed that they operated with integrity and were very good at what they did. ❖ When Fredco moved to 310 New North Rd Kingsland, Auckland, they also added a tyre dealership. I continued to use their services to keep my car in good order and also to now provide tyres. ❖ They have always been efficient and responsive, and have given me good advice and good competitive pricing on the upkeep of my car(s) over the years. ❖ I consider them to be one of the most reliable car service companies in the Auckland area and they continue to give exceptionally good service.

Second time I’ve been to this team after contacting them after a bad experience John Andrew Ford service centre. On both occasions have they been great communicators, on time and quality work - the repairs and service ended up being better value too. The previous place were trying to charge for issues that did not exist and their servicing did not include what Fredco do. I’ll be back a third time to Fredco even though I have drive a distance to get there!

Firstly you are always warmly welcomed by the 2 ladies in reception both named Karen, distinguished by the blonde or the brunette. Your car comes back professionally fixed and guaranteed by exceptional mechanics. My car was washed and polished as was dusty dirty when I dropped it off and lastly to ease the pain of paying the bill they give you a bag of jet planes on leaving. Always feel confident when I use this business to work on my car and they even give you a heads up on any other issues that they find along the way and communicate this back to you. Really happy with the help from Fredco. My car was parked on the hill and would not start. We live close to New North Rd and the mechanic came over, got the car going and took it back to the workshop for a check. We had our hybrid battery changed with Fredco and the whole process we seamless while we had to wait 10 weeks for part to arrive from overseas they stored vehicle as was not able to be driven. bang on time when we were expecting delays due to covid vehicle ready to be picked up.

I have been using Fredco regularly for around 10 years now for warrants and service with two different cars in that time. I have found them to be thorough, trustworthy and efficient. I'm very happy with the service there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I took my Mini here to check for oil leaks after an AA inspection pulled it up. The bill was less than I expected and the service was great. The mechanic personally talked to me about it and the car was ready by the time promised. If I didn't do most of the work on my cars myself I would definitely be giving these guys a go as my mechanic and will be coming back for any job that's beyond me.

Very disappointed with the service that I got. Brought in my car as there's a squealing sound when I step on the brakes. Was told that the brake pads are in good condition but the brake discs are glazed. They quoted me $150 plus labour (which was $288.04) to have the disc brakes "skimmed". I agreed on the price and said yes, if that'll fix the squealing issue. When I got my car, seems like the sound was gone. But the next day it came back. Not as loud but it's still noticeable and annoying. Brought back the car in and they checked again. They said they can't anything wrong with it except for the brake pads as it may be low quality. They quoted me another $200 to have it replaced. I said no this time and said I'll just pick up the car. Got there 15 minutes before 5PM today Friday from work. Got the car and drove. A couple of minutes of driving, I can already notice that the squealing sound is now as loud as it was when I first brought it in. And the worst thing is, my right front tire is flat. I didn't have time to come back as it was already past 5PM. So basically, I spent more than $400 for nothing. And with a bonus of getting a flat tire. EDIT: Changing from 1 to 4 stars Reached out to Fredco and brought back the car again and they entertained us. Apparently the real cause were the brake pads which they replaced. They didn't charge anything. Which we appreciate. Thank you! Driving the car for the past two days and can confirm the annoying sound is gone.

Got an emergency booking during the end of year holidays to take a look on a weird noise in the motor. Unexpectedly the noise stopped one day before going there. Could probably be due to a dirt road I've been to. They checked the car and were honest to say that at the time there was nothing wrong anymore. Don't charge me anything. Really, really liked. Very thorough and professional but too expensive for me. Never used them before and probably won't go back simply because I had to pay so much for all the little adjustments. I just needed a WOF and got a $350 bill for changing lightbulbs and wind screen wipers. If you wanna spend a lot on your car then this is the place I'm sure.
