Jen and the crew were so friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and had unbiased (I guess relative to the brands they promote!) opinions of other scooters. Went and had a pint next door while they assembled my scooter! Said scooter (the Zero 10 X) is awesome by the way! Any excuse to use it!

In my experience the customer service at Freed is well above average. Earlier this year Jen responded instatly to my late in the day request for an urgent repair. More recently I had a positive experience from both Amber and Ben when my scooter was in for its 500k service. I have recommended Freed to a colleague who also had a positive experience and purchased a scooter from them.

James and the team at Freed have been great, providing amazing customer service and after-sales support since I bought my Zero 10X in August 2020. I've taken my scooter in for servicing and repair twice since I bought it and both times it came back to me running smooth as silk, giving me peace of mind knowing my scooter is safe to ride again. Currently the only store in NZ that stocks the Zero range of electric scooters.

Solid E Scooter team! I went in with a punctured tyre. Jen recommended I get a ‘Gold Service’ $129. No regrets! As this included new tyre tube for only $50, new set of brake pads with fine tuning to the brake pressure, helped tune my scooter settings, a good air pressure clean, cleaned off rust and much more. On top of that, the repair team took the time to educate me on tips and tricks around everything e-scooter. Thanks team! 5 star

My partner and I bought our scooters (Zero 8 & Zero 10) from Freed back in mid-2020. We were sold on the Zero scooters when comparing them with others as they had the perfect balance between power, weight and ability to fold up/transport. The guys in-store were super knowledgeable and helpful, and we got to try out the range which was such a benefit when choosing which one to get. Since getting them, we have used them everywhere – to go to the supermarket with a backpack, going to/from the ferry while commuting to work or going into the city for the day, or just scootering around home for fun (this was a great option during lockdown!). We have even chucked them in the car when heading down to Taupo or New Plymouth for the weekend and using them to check out the towns, waterfront/lakefront and cycle paths. We've just taken our scooters in for a service and once again the Freed team were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place if you're going to buy an escooter or even just wanted to try one out.

They were very professional and made the most of the time constraints that I had. I would recommend them to everyone. Have gone to 5 others places when one of them even tried to scam me. This is the Best e-scooter repair shop in town.

The staff at Freed Scooters are awesome. From answering questions, giving me a test ride through to helping me purchase my scooter, they were amazing all the way through. So professional and great people. Also the scooter is so much fun. I love getting out on it whenever I can.

Awesome service and great product. I upgraded from a Xaomi I had been using for two years to the Zero 8X. They took the time to test ride with me and talk through the differences and safe riding. Their follow up on my purchase has been nice also. Money well spent, absolutely love my new scooter! Definitely recommend.

These guys are great. Managed to fix my TNE scooter tire really quickly where I had had huge trouble getting it done by other companies. The best thing about it was that I could book in to get my scooter fixed and know they would take a look at it that day, not like other places where they get to it when they can. Did the same job in 1.5 days where it took others 2 weeks to fix. Great staff, very professional, wish I had bought my scooter from them originally. Will definitely go back when I upgrade!

Bought two scooters from Freed within the last two years. One scooter had a minor technical issue after a couple of months of usage. Jen and the team were very helpful and fixed it swiftly under the warranty. Overall, great experience so far, highly recommend!

Ordered a scooter part online. Just a smooth, easy and seamless experience. Email confirmation, tracking number provided, and the parcel was received the very next day in Christchurch via overnight courier. I wish all my internet purchases were as good as this one. Thank you very much.

The team at Freed are awesome! They are knowledgeable about all their products in store and are very helpful and informative when selecting the right scooter for you. When you make your purchase I highly recommend you purchase their selection of helmets and locks for safety and security. This is my second purchase from the Freed team and will be back on a regular basis for scooter maintenance. If ever interested in trying out the fun, clean energy innovation, or expediency of an electric scooter, Jen and the crew at Freed Electric Scooters are the way to go. This was my first purchase and they were unbelievably knowledgeable, ready to let me test drive their vast array of affordable yet durable scooters, and I couldn't imagine any issues with the top notch quality, but they stand by their products, full stop! I shopped around and can't imagine a more enjoyable experience that helped me feel like I'm catching up to the ever increasing alternative, sustainable transportation world. My lightweight scooter folds right up, and I bring this affordable fine piece of machinery up on the lift with me to easy storage in my office everyday. It's lightweight but you can just tell how permanent and durable a commuting solution this is for me too. I've tried scooters in the past that were either to flimsy or too heavy or clunky. Jen and her hands on team are there for reliable buying or long term support, and the range of scooters would make any novice or experienced "pro" a happy customer. Thanks for the great months to date, and still excited to put more kms on my scooter for years to come! :)

Great service when purchasing my scooter. Was all unboxed and charged for me when I went to collect it. Later on I also purchased a helmet. Again, heaps of good advice enabled me to make a choice that suited me. Will definitely be back to Freed for more accessories and to get the scooter serviced when required

I had an excellent experience from the moment of making contact with Freed. Unfortunately their courier service was totaly unsatisfactory, 4 days to cross the harbour bridge, However a different courier was able to send a new tyre Auckland to Taupo overnight. Absolutely fantastic service

They sell the best value for money brands of scooters anywhere right now. Zero, Kaabo etc. Competent service technicians. Great service, I always enjoy visiting and seeing what new models and accessories they have in store.

Huge thank you to Dan for doing a job that PB Tech said could not be done! Fitted 2 tubeless tyres onto my Xiaomi M365 Pro in a day for on awesome price - the very same tyres that PB Tech claimed wouldn't fit on my scooter and wanted to charge an assessment fee almost as high as what the labour fee was at Freed... Go figure. Absolutely wholeheartedly recommend these guys for your e-scooting needs!

The Zero scooters are high quality,and I’ve never had an issue with mine at 500km until recently,when I had to get my first tube replacement in the rear tyre.On the website it says a zero10x tyre change including labour,is $90. Freed charged me $100 for a single $20 tube replacement on a Zero 9 (which is a cheaper and smaller scooter),not including a tyre change.Sadly I couldn’t collect it personally so was unable to talk to them in person.

One of the most important things when purchasing an electric scooter is picking a company that can service repair and replace parts and for me Freed are well ahead of the field in this area. Their service team provide a quality service with a quick turnaround .

Superb service and very professional results. I was dreading switching my flat front tyre on my Xiaomi M365 Pro with a solid one. The guys at Freed sorted it incredibly fast and they took good care of the scooter in the process (I would surely have wreaked it had I tried myself!) Totally worth the money to get these guys to do the job.

Fantastic service. Can be busy. Had tyre replacement and he team took great care and even fixed the loose handle bar. Definitely be going back for a scooter upgrade.

$69 to have my widewheel pro brakes adjusted and handlebars tightened. Tutorials are available on YouTube for free. Nice guy but I've worked retail for 17 years, trying to upsell when your customer just wants a service done is not the way to go.

It is an incredible store, the guys there are super professionals and they did a very good job fixing my scooter as well as giving me advice on caring for it and the prices for the repairs are cheap here are 5 stars for them.

I am loving the Xero 10x elec scooter I bought from FREED. I live up the side of a hill in Wellington, it gets up there easy. No problem also in the Wellington wind. The dual motor button is brilliant as a turbo for extra power when you need it, especially passing cyclists! James was great to deal with, really good on the sale pitch, and brilliant on after sales service too. Thanks for everything James. Orsum!

Customer service was excellent. Actually the reviews on the product we purchased were fantastic. We left our vehicles parked at Victoria Markets after paying for an extra 3 hours and spent the next three hour being tourists. Whenever we stopped. Someone came and asked where we got the scooters from. They are fast when you want, they have suspension that allows you to drive over curbs the brakes are excellent. There is enough power to get me up any hill in Auckland fast. I still haven't gone as fast as I could and probably wont. But having the power is very helpful. We went up Queen street and were able to travel as slow as someone walking without losing balance. The wide board is just the best for comfort. There are three modes and economy and dual motors. They're awesome for hills. Although the scooters were terribly expensive. I wouldn't look at another. I explored more of Auckland in three hours that I would have ever done on foot. You do feel like a kid again. It was so much fun! The product we purchased was the ZERO 10X 24Ah

I bought the Zero 10 and I commute regularly to works 20kms from west, this scooter is soo good and reliable. I really feel safe with the fatter tyres on the bike, I really am happy with the support James and Matt provide. No doubt that spending this amount of money, these guys give me high confidence in what I have spent

These guys know their stuff, I brought in my Xaiomi to have its tyre changed (which they did a great job on) then I tried out a few of their grunty Zero e-scooters and loved the Zero 10 so I bought one, high quality and the smoothest ride of any e-scooter iv'e tried. The Xaiomi is a toy compared to the Zero 10!

Well pleased with my purchase and the comprehensive operating instructions given before I rode off into the sunset at lightning speed.

The staff were great and assisted with my requests on short notice. Real great team.
