M.Excellent service. We have used gas strut services to design and supply gas struts for our in deck swimming pool cover hatch and recently to replace the gas struts on our Volkswagen kombi poptop. Simon was very helpful giving advice to our builder on the phone and via email to get our pool cover hatch working and more recently found a clever solution to get our Vw pop top back up and running, replacing the gas struts that were poorly replaced by somebody in the past. Highly recommend.
C.Had a broken strut repaired free of charge in less than two minutes. I broke it by misuse bit as it was their brand of strut and it was a low cost repair I wasn't charged. Some of the best customer service I've seen in NZ. Will definitely come back for paid custom. Thanks Simon, you're a legend!

T.Prompt service, existing struts "re-gassed". No guarantee of length of service, but assured price of repaired one will be deducted from replacement (if required.) Some signs of corrosion.

B.On same day call-out, Ian of Gas Strut Services carried out a thorough check on the 6 Roof/Internal Bed struts on my VW T5 Transporter Camper Van as I had been having difficulty getting full extension of the Bedroom struts which would sometimes collapse back down to its start position.
Ian removed each strut, checked its working pressure, readjusted each strut pressure as necessary, then refitted each strut with new, better compatible end fittings. The end result was an excellent overhaul of the struts which, due to age wear and usage, had reduced the struts working effectively. The cost for the call-out and 90 minute labour was very reasonable, thank you Gas Strut Services of Glenfield for a job well done. Brian Foster - (NZ37729).
