M.Amazing service and WOF by the team, all done and passed in 1.5 hours. Very friendly team and they have windshield wipers for about $15 if you want them replaced for you. Really did a good job and they let you know things to keep an eye on like tire tread and brakes. Well worth paying a bit more to go to a great place like this if you love your car like I do ;) . S.As a young lady, I get nervous about being over charged or scammed when getting my car checked for something. These guys are really good, transparent, honest, and thorough with their work. Lovely service, honest prices, and the check they did for possible overheating was free and the advice they gave was great. Highly recommend!

E.My partner and I were both very impressed by this mechanic professionalism, honesty and kindness! We bought a Grabone voucher for a simple service, didn't expect the guy taking so much time to get such a good job done and also showing us under our car and pointing at some issues clearly visible (we had our WOF recently done and haven't been told about important issues like a big oil leak, rust problems and tires in bad condition), he then was very honest about what are the things we could get done ourselves/for a cheaper price and where to go (recommending some products to buy, secondhand tyre shops...). We cannot recommend enough those guys and are very grateful. Coming back very soon to fix that oil leak! Thank you guys :)
A.Here you will get a rare to find honest transparent service that replaces things that need replacing... and fix things that needs fixing. They will let you know if they spot other issues without you ever feeling like you're just being taken for a ride. They will go the extra mile to check things that they will not charge you for. They charge less because they don't have staff to serve you flat whites and wash your car because they focus on the job you want them to focus on. There is no polished customer facing barrier... you get to see the character of the people who actually work on your vehicle. Before and afterwards, you can talk to your mechanic rather than some receptionist and discuss valuable behaviour of your car that might indicate issues that are hard to pick up on otherwise. He can tell you exactly what he did first hand and you won't just be handed an invoice and leave wondering what was actually done.
Z.I got my wof and servicing done here recently, and I found the staff to be very professional, efficient and extremely courteous. They explained to me the condition of my car, and what I need to pay attention to when the next service is due. I got a good grabone deal on this one, so can't comment on the pricing otherwise. But seeing as they are so straight forward and efficient, I would definitely recommend them 👍

T.I have sent about 15 friends/family here after receiving the best service I've ever had from Mairangi Automotive. My mum has been ripped off by a mechanic in the past but Kavit (owner) explained the issue very clearly, so that it was easy to understand, then offered multiple options so she knew she was getting a good deal. I've trusted Kavit with 5 of my cars and will continue making the journey here, even though I've moved to a different part of Auckland. Can't wait for my next service!

I travel from South Auckland to the shore but I will say it is worth the drive. This guy is genuine and upfront with you I will be using his service again and already recommended to family as a go to service for their cars. I told them forget the distance its worth the travel.

We used these guys for the very first time the week before Christmas for a Wof and Full service(Groupon deal).. I was stand off'ish @first cause my mrs took our van Inn and I was worried they'd take advantage of her and rip us off with mechanic jargon and false add on's, but this place was the total opposite. The guy wasnt a Crook or creep towards my mrs, but a genuinely nice friendly mechanic. He carried out a A+ service, topped up all oils and fluids, silicone the seat belts to retract faster, gave a full diagnostic of the work performed and made the van road worthy for a WOF. It definitely hit the BULLSEYE for me and went well and above expectations.i Totally appreciate there workmanship and service, my vans never driven soooo good. I fully recommend there team to you all AA++, and can't help but tell everybody the amazing service we received..im now Mairangi Automotive 4Lyfe!! Ty.

T.Kavit is the biggest breath of fresh air. He’s honest and a genuine guy - I’ve taken three of my cars there and he’s always been up front, clear and concise when talking about the work that has been done or needs doing. It took me years of different mechanics to finally find Mairangi Automotive and even though I now live in a different part of Auckland, I will always make the drive over because it’s worth it.
H.Take your car here. Then when you are given the great trustworthy service you can read of in these reviews DO THE RIGHT THING and reciprocate by giving them a 5 star review and telling your friends and family.... otherwise you will be taking advantage of the fact that Kavit will give you the best price possible without compromising on quality and go the extra mile without charging for it. Frankly I plan to take my car here for a long time and I don't need sponges sucking all the good will out of this business without even as much as a review that would bring him more business.

A friend recommended Mairangi Automotive to me and I have since brought 3 cars to them for a WOF and a service (one oldtimer WOF was less than $50, an Audi for break issues, engine oil leak yet to be done and a Rav4 service, oil change and Wof less than $100). Kavit and his team are amazing. They are very welcoming, professional and very knowledable and I don’t mind driving 20min to get to their workshop because I know I’m in good hands. By the way this is my first google review I wrote but I felt people need to know about them.
