J.I have been a customer of Midas Albany for approx 8 years - they really look after me and always go above and beyond, from giving me a loan car when needed, keeping me well informed of any issues, to getting the WOF so my car is ready to pick up and drive away AND the cost is always reasonable. If it is going to be big job, Robin checks around to find the best price. Talking of going above and beyond, yesterday they even made a part up to fit my front bumper to make my car look more aesthetically pleasing. Robin, Tony and Paul - THANK YOU SO MUCH!
W.I've had exhaust trouble on my truck for quite a while, but struggled to find anybody willing to do the repair, most simply unable to handle the size vehicle. I visited Midas Albany, met Robin and discussed my job plus was shown his workshop. We booked for the following day at 0630. I spoke to Tony who assisted me in driving onto his hoist for Paul to do the repair. There was a possible problem finding parts mid way through, but I was kept informed. Thanks to a brilliant bit of team work, the parts were located and the repair completed on time. I'm a qualified welder and I was looking for a tidy job, they exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the result. These guys really know their stuff and were very good to do business with.
E.Very quick response to my queries and were able to book me in on the same day (an Auckland miracle). They gave me great details of the issues and a fair price. They replaced my front brake pads, a very desperate job. Easy communication and will come back in the future.
a.Robin and the team at Midas Albany are always super helpful whenever I come around. They have been servicing my car for over 8 years now and every interaction with them has been positive. I must say Robin is a super polite and helpful man - he really understands the urgency of situations and I can tell he really cares to help. In the past they've given me courtesy cars and sometimes even dropped me off to my work place when it was a quick fix. I would highly recommend my local mechanic - always been there to help me and never let me down.

I was broken down on the motorway and they lent a friend of mine their jump pack and battery so I could get the car to them and then they handled straight away even though I wasn't booked and repaired the alternator and had me back on the road the following day. N.I have an old Beemer that i have needed work onon a couple of occasions this year. I have found the team at Midas fantastic, down to earth, nothing is any trouble and they are always really good at explaining things to this non mechanical woman! Feel safeand happy using their services... as much as I hate it when the car plays up ,, midas albany make it a much less stressful time! Would gladly recommend.
M.Had Clutch Master and Slave cynliders replaced, Robin & Paul went above & beyond to get this sorted for me as there are no brandnew master cylinders in the country, had to send it to be recond. and refitted. Would definately recommend Midas Albany for any issues you need diagnosed and fixed.

Robin and his team have always found the problem, and resolved it for me, without fault. Other mechanics I’ve had stuff “fixed” only for the issue to come back, or for the actual problem to be something else they missed, this has never been the case at Midas Albany. I’ve always received fantastic service on a really friendly and personal basis, I always feel welcome and taken care of.
My entire family now go to Midas Albany, based on my reccomendations, and they have all received the same high level of service and friendly atmosphere.
Robin, the gentleman who runs the place, will always ensure you’re taken care of and goes the extra step to make sure you receive the best service possible. He will always take the time to explain any problems or issues step-by-step, allowing even a complete car novice to understand and interpret what is wrong with their car.
I couldn’t recommend a mechanic more. Definitely head down to the Midas Albany garage, you won’t be disappointed.

This is another big thanks from Midas Albany and Robins fantastic Mechanics just recently we had our car sent in for a service and a repair to the cars gear lever they stopped it from making a rattling noise after the clutch was replaced and now the gears change smoothly I Recommend everyone going to Midas Albany as they repair your car back running to 100% . As we have been going to Midas for 18 years and they have the cheapest WOF way cheaper than VTNZ as there WOF will cost you $67.00 And Midas will only charge you just over $51.00 so every time our WOF expires we get them to service the car as well so every one should use Midas in Albany

It's always a bit of a moot point when it comes to mechanics & after years of riding that mechanic rollercoaster I've finally found one I can trust & doesnt want to rip me off! B.They fixed my brakes and replaced my tyres. I have been asking around for people to see what the problem was with my brakes. After replacing my front brakes they checked around for me and it is now fixed! No more knocking noises.
