Kevin is an exceptional guy, looking after my Mini. He gives very useful information and shows a great concern not just to the car but also to the customer. He is transparent and truthful. He is generous with his time and effort, indeed going the extra mile. Highly recommend, North Shore Auto Centre for any WOF or car repairs.

Professionalism and Quality Kevin is very professional, prompt to help and explains thing clearly to understand for someone who is not a mechanic but just a driver. His autocentre provides a quality service at a short time frame and at the reasonable price. I have visited Kevin's centre only twice but definitely wouldn't go anywhere else from now on. Kevin is professional, friendly, thorough and I found him to have very high standards with his workmanship . He clearly explained what he would do and what he did and messaged me options along the way which I liked. A very clear communicator which can be hard to find sometimes. He did a great job on my car and now it runs like a rocket. Kevin also gave me great advice on how to look after my car with things like oil, tyre pressure etc. 5 stars!

Found this centre by chance and the service on my Ducato camper was carried out with the result that it now runs better and with smoother gear changes and it is performing better than from the the past, I will be using Kevin's service in future not only because it is close to my home but clearly the professional knowledge he has makes it so easy to deal with. My car was making those embarrassing loud squeaky noises (the kind that make you wish all your windows were tinted) so I took it to Kevin down at the North Shore Autocenter. He'd had a look and suggested changing the drive belt to start off. I ended up mixing up the dates for my appointment but Kevin took me in despite that drama (sorry Kevin!). He also checked all other parts of the car that could have been responsible for the noise after changing the drive belt to make sure things were running quiet. I've had no issues since. Thanks again for squeezing me in Kevin! Would definitely recommend!! :D

Kevin is a really genuine honest guy. I've used his service for about 3 years now. I once took my car in because it was feeling strange, he loaned me his courtesy car for the day, and when I came back he said there was no fault...and didn't charge me anything!. His pricing is fair and he looks after my car really well and I trust him.

I have used Kevin for all my cars since moving out to NZ. It is rare to find a mechanic so genuine, trustworthy, honest and helpful. I always know his work is of the highest quality and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. The cost is always reasonable and much cheaper than a BMW garage for the same level of service.

Kevin did major works on my VW. He did a stellar job on the car and I very happy with the service and his workmanship. Got a secondhand car fresh off the boat and took it to Kevin for a check up and service. Was very impressed in his professionalism in fixing what needed to be done and giving straight up advice. Was even more impressed in that he arranged with the dealer to skim the brakes at no cost to me (and after the purchase had been completed). Above all that, sourced two good free tyres to make the car safe for a upcoming family road trip. I've been through the service process many times now but none come close to this level of service! Well done mate!

Kevin checked my car for free and let me know what needed repairing and got it fixed. Also told me what didn't need to be repaired right now so that I didn't have to pay for unnecessary repairs, and let me know what I needed to do to pass my upcoming WOF. Seriously impressed with the service I have received from Kevin. As usual when you do an online lead/quote request, no one gets back to you - but Kevin was on to it within 3-4 hours. The fact he personally does all the work, so knows intimately whats going on, is a real bonus. I wont go anywhere else now - especially as he found a couple of things that other mechanics said they had addressed - and hadn't. All you ever want is a decent job done at a fair price - and this guys ticks all the boxes....and no I am not related to him!

I had bought a very high mileage car about a week ago and so booked her in for a full service. There wasn’t much to be done (thank goodness) and she’s running like a dream so far. After dealing with Kevin at North Shore Autocentre my faith has been restored that good mechanics really do exist! Kevin fixed an issue I had with my brakes for only $110 in a couple of hours, whereas another mechanic had quoted me over $600 for the repair and a two week wait. Thanks again!

Thank you again for such good service - went to get a WOF after another nearby mechanic could not do one. He found my automatic transmission recently flushed had not been completed correctly and tightened it up for me. He also explained a few mechanical issues and what it meant which is nice if you know nothing about cars. Will be taking my car services here from now on!

I took my car in for a quote and turns out I need a whole new transmission. After speaking to the mechanic about the history of my car he gave me tips on how to take it back to the car dealer and get them to fix it. Yet to see how I go down this avenue, but he didn't even charge for the diagnosis. He is honest and genuine. I now won't go anywhere else!

You're often a little wary when you go to an auto centre for the first time, but Kevin helped put any fears I had to rest. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly; he kept me up to date on the work that was being done and was honest and upfront about the cost. Would go again.
