H.Was looking for a new mechanic as my usual mechanic, though having rock bottom prices, was also giving me less than satisfactory work, and the customer service was very disappointing. Can be a bit intimidating walking into garages so thought I would email a few with my car problems and wait for responses. Phil Eisenhut replied almost immediately and invited me to bring the car in to have a look which got rid of any awkwardness. Upon arrival Phil's wife Karen was very welcoming at reception and Alex promptly printed out a quote for the job I wanted and offered a courtesy car. Later on that day upon the completion of the job I also inquired about WOF repairs whereas Alex again gave me 2 different quotes ranging from minimum work to receive a WOF, to recommended work he felt the car needed to operate more efficiently. Both quotes showed the part prices which were at rock bottom prices as I had already done research on the parts and the tyre price was on par with the excellent Don's Tyres up the road. Alex quoted the minimum time for labour. I found the prices for the job to be at rock bottom prices for parts like the cheapo mechanics, except for the added GST, and I would gladly pay their prices again for a proper job done than a cheap job by cowboys where there are problems later on. Phil and Alex have been working together for a number of years so I feel secure taking them on board as my new mechanics rather than a garage with transient mechanics who come and go and you don't know what you are getting each time you go there. If you want a reliable, ethical, family run automobile repair shop then Phil Eisenhut is the way to go. Do not be intimidated by their flash looking premises and think it is out of your price range...that is simply Karen's womanly touch wanting to keep things nice and tidy lol! Phil Eisenhut Automotive are very conscious of upholding their outstanding reputation so will do their utmost to ensure you are more than happy as a customer.
