Great service every time. Quite a few times they’ve quoted me and then come back and said it was actually cheaper despite me agreeing to initial quote. Reliable, efficient and trustworthy. I would come back every time.

RNT motors was recommended to me by a friend almost 14 years ago, and since then Tom (the owner) has been my go to mechanic for over a decade now. It has always been a pleasure doing business with him and his wife (who is also often present). You will find him a welcoming, honest and upfront mechanic, who will always try to get you the best deal to suit your needs. He seems to remember all his customers too which is nice, even recognising me after being away for 5 years. At the very least come in for a quote and see what he has to say, I'd wager you'll find a very reasonable price, and swift turn around on your vehicle.

We have been using the services of RNT motors for the last 12 years mainly for WOF and general annual service (oil change etc) and based on our interactions with RNT motors I rate their service as very good. For some, language can be a slight problem but for me it isn't as I am quite familiar with the way they speak English.

The guy there always does a good solid job. I recommend him for any repairs. He will let you keep the old parts he has replaced and show you the wear and/or tear on each bit. Very affordable and very prompt. Sometimes can be a bit of a wait but I'm happy to wait for his work. 5/5!

Failed my WOF but booked in 2 days later to get the issue fixed and 2.5 hours later it was fixed perfect and I was given the part that needed to be replaced to pass the WOF, will be going back in a cpl of weeks to get another part fixed. Service was good nice people

Best mechanics I've ever been to, especially as a woman who doesn't know too much about cars! I recommend these guys to everyone that asks.

It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust especially when you just moved to a new city. A friend of mine recommended RNT Motors a few years ago. I've been coming here ever since. I always had positive experiences. The boss Tom is down to earth and always charges very reasonably.

A friend recommended RNT when I moved to Mt Albert four years ago. I've since moved to a different area, but still make the trip because I put my full trust in the RNT team. So good to find a reliable and honest mechanic. They always quote pricing before doing any work, and they do a great job. I find their pricing is often cheaper than you'd expect. Never had any issues with them. Tom and his wife are so friendly and knowledgeable. I won't go anywhere else.

I've been going to this privately owned mechanic outfit for over two years and recommend their services. The owner is always friendly, reliable, and no-nonsense; his explanations are logical and he answers questions with understanding--even offering up cheaper alternatives to the same problem, with clear cost-benefit analyses. I don't speak Chinese, but I've never had an issue with communication here, nor have I felt out of place--in fact, it's been much more straightforward communicating with these mechanics than other, kiwi-owned outfits (or American chains that I've been to, like Midas) whose first language is English. If you want the best prices and reliable service, look no further.
