Took my car in for a service, really appreciated the level of customer service and communication throughout. Alex was a legend in explaining what the issues were to someone who's pretty clueless when it comes to cars. My lack of understanding sometimes makes it a bit daunting dealing with mechanics, however these guys weren't pushy at all, fixed my issues and gave sound advice, all for a very reasonable price. Absolute pleasure to deal with and would recommend them 100%.

Rob & his team were outstanding. In this Covid era we are in, I was met at the door by Rob, details exchanged all in a contactless manner. I was called by one of the Mechanics and informed that the car was ok, besides a recommendation of wiperblades. On collection, paywave was a option. I jumped in the car to find all the touch points of the car had been wiped down & sanitized. I could not be happier with the professionalism shown

A speciality car mechanic offering wide variety of car services. WOF and overall general service is also offered. The location is handy and close to public transport links. The mechanics are highly experienced and professional. The estimates and times of service given are always upheld, which is a great thing. If there are any additional costs incurred, they always call up and ask the customer before going ahead, which shows great transparency. The waiting area is nice and clean where WiFi is also available. Appointments are recommended since there are a lot of customers in the queue. Overall very nicely managed and well recommended.

Awesome staff and well serviced my Toyota Prius have advise right synthetic oil which was never told by any mechanic in past. Hope it in helos mileage as mentioned for extra dollars Paid. I am happy to pay more if given honest and professional advise!!!!

I live in Papatoetoe but chose my car servicing with Takapuna car clinic. They greet me with a smile on arrival, treat me with respect and do a great service to my diesel van. I happily make the 40 odd kilometer drive over the bridge for my customer satisfaction.

My name is Susan and have had my car with Rob and his team for at least 5 or 6 years now. This review is long overdue but after returning from yet another awesome experience with this company I felt compelled to finally write one. It started with a Groupon warrant and service deal and Im still with them :) I have had nothing but expert service, from the most courteous of staff who actually have always gone out of their way for me. They have always been honest, i have never felt they have overcharged me and in fact they have saved me money on telling me not to bother with unnecessary costs as I have an old car with high mileage and they just keep maintaining it so I can keep on moving. I trust Rob and his team 150% I cannot fault anyone in this team or their work, and can honestly highly recommend them. Simply outstanding. Thank you Rob and Takapuna Car Clinic

I have nothing but good to say about Rob and the rest of the team, he's probably one of the most honest people I have come across, and that's saying something being in the car game. He's so honest a week later he realised he over charged me and deposited funds back into my bank account. It's hard to find a someone good to work on your pride and joy. I would have no problem recommending Rob to to do that work.

Ok but not happy how my car came back from service

Honestly dont understand everyone's issue. Had my vehicle serviced on a group on voucher. Had to pay an additional $70 due to the recommended type of oil and filter my vehicle uses. Went to repco to get it myself to find the cost of the oil ($105) and filter ($65) was $170 together! Considering the service cost a total of $139 (voucher $69 + $70) not including things they picked up on during the service I would say it's a no brainer. Especially considering the included wof. I dont think a cheaper deal exists. The products used seem to be of very decent quality. Oil used in my vehicle was from AC Delco. The same oil Holden Dealerships use. The filter from the looks of things seems to be a JS Akashi. A lesser known brand in New Zealand but what seems to be a reputable filter made in JAPAN (always a good sign)
