I had my test scheduled for 1:15pm. Due to a system error, I had to wait an extra 30min for my rescheduled test. I had Anas as my testing officer. He was very courteous, professional and by far one of the best testing officers at VTNZ Westgate. If you get him as a testing officer, you’re lucky!! He is fair and gives clear instructions while doing your test. He’s able to put the driver at ease which makes for a better testing experience. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Anas for your professionalism and service. He’s great!!

Awesome service today. The trailer failed due to the mudguard being detached from the body. After asking the inspector to recommend somewhere to take it to be fixed, he said he would see what he could do to help me out. He went out of his way to fix the problem, and also put the warrant on for me. Fantastic service. Saving me a lot of time and hassle. Thanks so much for caring!

#Driving test #VTNZ WESTGATE #Sri It's positive review, but do not expect the driving test officer will easily pass you, as it is not expected from them and they are abiding by laws and policies by NZTA. The driving test officer Mr.Sri is an absolute professional and most humble person, who has given very very VERY clear instructions to follow. He made us comfortable before conducting the test. He did conduct the test very strictly as per the requirements by law and he gave very helpful feedback at the end of test. I would DEFINITELY recommend #Mr. Sri & #VTNZ Westgate 100%👍💯...

We are all under stress with Covid restrictions but you can still be courteous - clearly the old fella mechanic, we shall call him snowy ... that barked at me to get back in my car with a please or thank you was having a hard day - maybe time to retire mate if you've been robbed of decency. Otherwise everyone else was great and friendly.

VTNZ Westgate. In my opinion it is very 50/50. For me, I passed my full but I've also heard many stories of some extremely unreasonable instructors who do not judge driving based of discretion, but by rather reading off a rule book which is nonsensical. The man who took me was ANAS F and he was very reasonable with me. I give him a 5 star rating. However, he is one of a few reasonable people who take the tests. I suggest to not take your test as Westgate as most of the driving instructors are not reasonable with their judgement.

Eleanor is an amazing instructor. I am so lucky to have her as my instructor. Before the test, I was so nervous. I was shaking in my heart. She gave me clear directions and was very nice to speak to me, which made me calm down and focused on driving. Thanks to her patience and kindness, I passed the test. She told me well done at the end of my test. That is so encouraging for me. I was so lucky.

One if the better VTNZ sites, staff are friendly, it's always clean. The technical service is efficient, however, administration service is a mixed bag. Lowered rating from 4 to 3 stars based on this experience. Over the last two visits.

Perfect. I haven't owenef a car in a few years so he even fixed the windscreen wipers for me. Nice guys. Very easy system. Coffee not so great but it happens I had just run out at home so beggars can't be choosers.

Gave my full driving test, seamless at the reception & efficient functioning. I wanted to thank Angelina who was my TO on the day. She was amazing in her way of giving directions, made me feel comfortable and I cleared it with flying colors. I recommend this centre & if you have Angelina with you - stress won’t the reason why you don’t pass the full test.

Took my full drivers license test here and it was a smooth sailing experience. Every staff member was kind, helpful and friendly. My test practitioner was easy to communicate with and took the time to walk me through the test before I took it. Best VTNZ I have been too and much better than Glen Innes (have had poor experiences there.) Highly recommend to everyone.

I had my full driving license last week. My instructor was Nick. He was vry friendly n his instructions on road was vry clear and make you feel comfortable.

Very good experience! I had my restricted driving test, today & I was sitting for the second time. My testing Officer was Srikanth and he was a very calm & articulated testing Officer. I was at ease, while driving through out the test and he explained in detail the two critical errors that I made and a general feedback on which area I should improve. Overall I am very happy to pass the test!

Absolutely loved the experience! Went there for my practical driving test. Met with Eleanor who took care of my test. She was a gem to have by your side when your are stressed out by the anxiety and excitement of the test. I had Lauren as my testing officer today at westgate vtnz! She was amazing!!!!! If you get her your in for a good ride!!!! She is so calm and friendly! I sat my restricted and full license here and had a great experience both times. Eleanor was my testing officer today and was AMAZING! She was very professional and friendly from the get go. Her communication and instructions were very clear which I appreciate especially when you're a little nervous. You need more people like Eleanor at VTNZ :D

Nice setup. Busy place and alot of staff to jeep the lines moving along fairly quickly.

The main lady at the counter has always been polite and willing to help, older lady blue eyes blonde hair she's always been helpful and this is the only reason VTNZ gets a 5 star rating .appreciate the friendly service thanks.

Absolutely, VTNZ Westgate is a great place to test your driving license. Srikanth sir was my testing officer and I have to say he has been very professional. He was very kind and made me feel so comfortable and confident during my test. I totally recommend VTNZ Westgate to my friends. Cheers!

Went for full driving test yesterday. The person who accessed my skills was Khan. He was so professional and very appreciable person at what he is doing as a testing officer. He didn't give any unnecessary pressure during the test which made me comfortable and let me do my best.

I was so scared after reading horrible reviews about the VTNZ Westgate lady instructor.I was lucky that i didnt got that rude women as an instructor. I must say KHAN who was my instructor is a gem for Westgate VTNZ.Sat for my full drivers license today and PASSED the test.Khan was awesome, he helped me stay calm as this was a very stressful time for me. He was very professional and gave me clear instructions which removed a lot of pressure.Specially it was raining like cats and dogs which made me nervous but Khan was so calm and composed and ensured that i was at my ease while driving in that horrible weather. I would highly recommend him and if you get him as your driving instructor, be assured that you will be judged fairly.After the driving test ,he gave me constructive feedback which is pitch perfect.Thank you SO MUCH KHAN.

This morning I went for my restricted License test. I was greeted by the lovely Lauren J . During my test she made me feel so comfortable and during stage1 she gave me great feedback which continued on to stage 2 in which I passed in the end !! I am way beyond words today for her professionalism and instruction. Lauren was very kind and gave clear instructions and was very pleasant . I would reccomend Lauren to all learner driver's, restricted and full . You will feel the warm prescense and welcome once she greets you . Well done Vtnz westgate . I look forward to coming back for my full driving test.

My driving instructor was nick at vtnz Westgate. Nick was awesome really calm gave clear instructions and was really kind and considerate throughout the test definitely recommend vtnz Westgate if you want to sit your restricted license

In all my years I have been going here I have never had a problem. They are really good and fast as they can be. Only thing is way to expensive. But beats going to a mechanic like I used to years ago and they would find things that don't even need fixing. Got sick of that so that's why I stick with these guys.

I passed my full licence finally!! and would like to thank Zubair who was my TO and he was very good with directions and giving instructions. This made me comfortable.

Got my WOF done here on Saturday- they were professional, efficient and quick.

Zabair was my driving instructor for my driving license test. I passed on my first go even though I failed the difficult parallel park he gave me which was on a hill and curb but all good haha. His driving instructions were clear and his advice afterwards were helpful. Staff were also friendly and professional.

My instructor for the driving test was Jeannine she was very friendly and kind. Her instructions were very clear. this is my 3rd time for the test and in the first 2 times i failed due to 2 rude officers in northshore. So would recommend others to have their test here.

Completed my full driver's license test. Overall I thought the experience was good.

Sat my restricted driving test, and regardless of result my testing officer David K (the younger one) was very nice, unlike testing officers that I have had previously. Yes, the test is harder here than others based on statistics, so even good drivers get turned away. However if you want an easier test then go elsewhere. You have been warned. Pleased with good experiences from all the reception people, including tips to change bookings online to avoid extra fees. Overall, very nice, would like it if (some) testing officers worked on being friendly while also being professional.

Had an awesome Maori and Pacific island instructor who made definitely made me feel more confident in my driving abilities. I felt way less nervous and more relaxed, and I was able to show that I could actually drive. Thanks to him who was very friendly and acted how an instructor should be, I passed!

Two of my experiences for driving test there was nice , met one old lady she was understanding and nice. Hope the best for here.

Polite friendly staff providing an in-depth in non-biased warrant report. Their warrants may cost a little bit more but at least you know if they fail you on something it's because it needs to be addressed not because they're trying to make money out of you

Had a driving instructor named Eleanor for my restricted. Very kind & friendly, her instructions were also very clear and easy to understand. I definitely recommend her!

There's a good friendly team here, I've been coming here for over 10 years. Occasionally busy for vehicle inspections but they typically get you through relatively quickly. They tale the time to chat to you about any issues they find and offer good useful and practical advice about how and where to sort it out. It can be very busy in the waiting room with driver certification activities but this doesn't usually interfere with getting your vehicle checked.

Very good experience with VTNZ Westgate branch would recommend this center for overseas conversion.Branch manager Shan and driving test officer Angelina were very supportive and professional.

I've been going there for years. I love the friendly welcoming atmosphere. They have drinks and public facilities onsite. You can go for a 15min walk to maccas or warehouse.

Staff was at times strained and place was pretty small. The waiting area is not very comfortable but offers a coffee machine. Went in for a full license test, have to show up 30 mins prior as recommended or you may miss your test.

Very helpful & informative instructor I had on my driving test. The professional etiquette of the staff give the candidate extra mileage to pass.

I only have been there 3 times for license testing for a friend and my wife. Instructors are honest and truthful as to their judgement on the drivers. I had a discussion with one of the instructors regarding a specific test sbd believe his advice really helped.

. (01/12/2015) Nicely located at a secluded corner of Westgate. Liked the ambiance. Well maintained. Limited seating capacity. Although was put off by loud receptionists initially but really loved the service and the jovial as well as experienced staff. Overall had a memorable experience.

Did my full license test there. There was a little wait on a friday afternoon but instructor was very pleasant to deal with and not intimidating at all. Instructions were clear and was open for discussion incase you did not understand the request.

VTNZ Westgate was awesome place to pass a driving test and Eleanor B the instructor was very professional when taking the driving test.

Review vased on just one visit. VTNZ is all about convenience, and this branch also manages to be comfortable band relaxing as well. $65 for a WoF - so you are paying for the convenience, but it is open Saturday AND Sunday!! Not much of a wait, especially considering VTNZ requires no appointment - for a WoF, I was in and out within 30min, which is pretty good. The waiting area is roomy, well lit and you can see your car the entire time, if you're paranoid about letting strangers have a go at your pride & joy. There is a complimentary hot drink machine, and (decent) toilets are available. Vary handy to Repco and tire shops around the corner if you need a new bulb/wiper/basic repairs to pass your WoF. If you don't mind paying more, I'd recommend!

I have passed my full licence test here and the testing officers are very friendly and considerate. If Gagan is your testing officer, he's very friendly and consider yourself passed ( You should know to drive properly).

Awsome customer service,went and sat my full licence, channon was my guide, after being nervous for the whole morning,he was really friendly and made my test really relaxed almost like i was driving with a mate in the car. Will be telling people to come there and sit there test

Drivers Licensing - I would reccomend if you are sitting your practical to try and get Sri he was lovely, clear and concise and well mannered. I passed obviously.

Elanore took me for my (very belated) test and she was just fantastic

Got my drivers licence renewed here,was expecting a shambles being covid times but pleasantly surprised how well things went.

I had my full license test here, and the service was by far the friendliest I had experienced. I can't remember my tester's name, but she was very professional and explained everything really well.
