First time going here. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. They detailed exactly what was required and talked through some different options. The service was professional and I will now be going here for everything I need done to my vehicle from now on.

Always a pleasure to deal with Fitzgerald motors. Fast efficient and no nonsense attitude, just what's required when it's required.

Have only had good experiences here, have fixed all my car issues over the last few years.

Phenomenal service. I booked in for a transmission flush and asked if they would kindly have a look at something. They were able to pick up on the issue extremely fast and they were honest and upfront and that is hard to find sometimes being a female with a car. Scott had a very welcoming manner about him on the phone and the receptionist (sorry I did not get your name) was very welcoming and kind. I am very happy with the service I received and how honest and upfront they were with me. Primo service Fitzgerald motors.

Best Mechanics! Lovely people to work with. Helped my mum a few years ago when our car broke down And she had 5 kids with her. Sorted her out then and there and we were on our way! Our whole family go to this mechanics now and that's over 5 cars! Never a problem - highly recommend 🙌🏾

Great guys to deal with! Came down with a urgent repair and WoF and was pleased to get the car sorted out. They always call first to provide a quotation before any repairs and their pricing is honest and competitive. Will not charge you for unnecessary repairs. Highly recommended!

Genuinely, the most friendly staff I have ever encountered. We got looked after so well it felt like mum and dad from another country! Proper job, amazing price, super fast, we didn't want to leave! Even when they were so busy they took the time to answer ALL our little questions. I could write a whole story on our experience, but absolutely would reccomend them.

I would not go anywhere else!!! I have never purchased a vehicle without the guys from Fitzgerald checking it over for me (which they do for free). I have always been called if something extra needs done. Love dealing with all the mechanics, they really know their stuff. Joan is welcoming and friendly and always happy to sort a loan car etc if need be. Love it that they send a reminder letter out for WOF and servicing, very handy. Highly recommend.

Fitzgerald Motors is the best mechanic by far I have ever been to! After having a job screwed up by a different mechanic, they very professionally fixed my car at a very reasonable price! I now take my car for servicing there about every 3 months and there friendly customer service is second to none! Nothing is ever a problem over the phone or when I come in. Excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and VERY HONEST mechanics! Lets you know if something is actually an issue or not to stop you being potentially ripped off by other places. Will be coming back here for all my cars WOFs, services etc. Really friendly with great communication about what they find. Many happy customers came in and out while I was in wait room which goes to show their reputation. A+++

well that was the best experience at a mechanics i have ever had from booking my pride and joy in to picking her up running like new i dont like taking my car in to workshops as im very fussy but graham and the guys their put my mind at ease and did a great job finding and fixing a fault that others couldn,t .my cars not your average run of the mill car being a modified v8 but not a problem to these guys , i have no problem recommending them to anyone that wants a top class service and great communication as once they found the problem they rung to discuses the repair process ,so no surprises when i went back to collect her thanks guys very happy

I have been going to Fitzgerald Motors for about 4 years now. I am an older lady and own and older car and they have been so friendly and obliging. Always go the the extra mile and are very honest. I and lots of my older friends would not go anywhere else. They really are tops. Joan in the office cannot do enough to help you. Amazing people.

I have been using Fitzgerald Motors for well over 10 years now and my husband has used them for much longer. They do a fantastic job maintaining and repairing our vehicles (of varying makes and ages) and they provide us with excellent advice, service and workmanship. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable front-of-house ladies. Mechanics know what they are doing and work in a timely and efficient manner. Price is no different than elsewhere but the whole experience makes them stand out.

This place is awesome. Iv been going here for the last 12 years and have great service and have always gone that little extra further to help me with whats needed. As for the office lady she is wonderful. Always friendly and helpful and will do what she can to get my car in. Great staff. Recommend them to everyone. I have been a customer of Fitzgerald Motors for 15 years plus with both my personal vehicles and company vehicles.I use them for WOf servicing and repairs as I need to know that all are safe to be on the road.I trust and have faith in all of the mechanics to repair and not patch so much so that my children and some of our staff also use them.If there is any unexpected work required Joan will always call and make sure I am happy to go ahead beforehand. They will always work with me to make sure this is done when it works best for me.I would recommend Fitzgerald Motors to anyone looking for a workshop that is reliable and reasonably priced.

Fabulous, friendly professional service every time. Over 20 years Fitzgerald Motors have looked after my vechlices. Their advice, guidance and expertise has allowed me to own well maintain cars that have not cost me unnecessary dollars. They have helped me not to buy bad vehicles, for example covered up crashed repairs. They have advised in advance of any costly maintenance due and they always ring to confirm any extra costs. There was even a time my final bill was way under the quote, apparently a cost of a part wasn’t necessary as it only needed a clean not replaced, I would never have known. I will miss this service when I move to Hamilton.

Three generations of my family have been taking their vehicles to Fitzgerald Motors for 20 odd years and have always found their service to be very proffessional and friendly from Joan through to Graham,Craig and the boys,even when living in Rolleston I still came to these guys.I have also recommended to friends who have and continue to take their vehicles to the guys. Definitely 5 star worthy the Team at Fitzgerald motors Hornby are by far the best mechanics in Christchurch have been here almost 2 years and they have been very reliable when it comes to fixing and diagnosing car issues at a very reasonable price . The receptionist Joan has the most amazing customer service skills is always very assertive ,friendly and super helpful and amazing at communicating when car is ready or if there at changes .Fitzgerald motors are definitely book work MTA work ethical if not more !! thanks guys for always doing an amazing job ! Love the quality of the work done at a decent price every time !!🙂

I have been going to Fitzgerald Motors for near on 20 years. It is very hard to find a workshop/mechanic you can trust an will give you the very best service possible. Fitzgerald motor's has always done both. They have always looked after me both in the work shop and in reception. I have no hesitation in recommending this workshop to anyone who wants honesty, quality and reliability. I also feel that comments made by a discruntaled customer should be viewed with scepticism as they are incongruent with the majority of comments. Also NOT OKAY to make personal hurtful comment's on a person's physical appearance. I believe this also attests to the persons very poor character! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ALL Dougall

Hands down the best garage iv ever been to. Staff are so friendly, gives great advice and willing to go the extra mile for ya. Definitely wont be goin anywhere else from now on.

I have 3 cars and a SUV and wouldn't take them anywhere else, they don't do any repairs by half so if you want a cheap job go elsewhere, if you want a job done right see Fitzgerald Motors

Top service fast and reliable dropped my car off first thing in the morning needing quite a few things done all taken care off by lunchtime couldnt ask for better service will certainly be going back cheers
