I telephoned staff at Hamco today and asked a few questions about my roof racks. They were very generous with their knowledge. I came into the shop later in the day and a number of questions were answered and I left with solutions at a very reasonable price. Second time I have come to Hamco and both times I have been very impressed. Will be coming back!

I brought a Pro Rack fitting kit for my car based on the finder online only to find that it didn't fit. They helped me find the correct fitting kit and let me swap it without any dramas. Will definitely be going back to them and highly recommended.

Purchased some self tightening snow chains from here. Got them off the website and saved $20 by signing up to the email list. All up they were $359 ,have seen other places selling for $450 plus. Looked extensively for a better deal and couldn’t find one. Good advice on ones to suit my vehicle. Tried them on today and very easy to install. They seemed to be busy when collecting them had to wait 15+ minutes but service was good after that. Just seemed to be a busy day for them. There is only a few car parks so would go during mid week next time not a Friday.

What a wonderful auto shop! We came here for ski tyre chains and found the staff so friendly and helpful! We ended up having to try four different chains because our tyres were randomly larger than they were meant to be and the staff were really patient and enthusiastic about helping us and kept trying new chains until one fit, and gave us a full demonstration and description of how to use. Such a great experience and so helpful. Thanks so much!

Went and kitted out vechile with thule roof racks. Found out a few days later that there was a flush mount tidier option available for my type of vechile. Too late racks already on, sales assistant could spend a little more time exlporing possible options. Racks good and price competitive.

I’d like to recommend this shop but they keep selling people these high up strap on ski holders that are terrible instead of low profile streamlined bolt on racks Choose carefully as they refused a return box unopened with receipt 6 weeks after purchase

Great all round experience. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and prices were lower than expected. They also installed our racks at the last minute past closing on a Saturday which we found to be great customer service. They gave us some good tips and also used there own installation technique for our roof box to avoid common issues/annoyances they have found with this product on certain styles of roof bars. Would recommend this team of guys to everyone

Good range and good on price, I recently did a price comparison on a fairly standard roof rack and they were the best price. Staff had good knowledge of their products and helpful without being pushy. Shop has a good range of auto accessories. Parking in front of store.

I highly recommend HAMCO !! Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products. The HAMCO team went above and beyond to help find the right sized roofbox for our vehicle and this proved extremely challenging due to the position of the roof racks that couldn't be moved. Eventually one was found that worked however it still required some alterations and they were able to suggest a perfect solution to the problem and advised us of the company that could complete this adjustment so that the roof box would fit perfectly. Throughout the staff at HAMCO were extremely patient, accommodating and professional despite multiple trials of various boxes some that had to be ordered in just to try, questions and challenges and they did everything they could to find a solution for us which was so very much appreciated. Thank you !!

Just got fitted Thule wing bars on my Porsche from Simon and Cam and am a very happy customer! These guys stock everything (all brands) incase you need to top up your existing system. The cool thing is these guys will fit your car out with them if you like. I would of spent a while doing it myself. They give great advice. I was thinking I was after 135cm wide racks and they convinced me on 127cm wide which was 10 cm wider than what is recommended the 118cms for my car. And they look a perfect fit. From now on no more surfboard distracting my vision on the way to the surf! Looking forward to buying my roof box from them in a years time. Don’t waste time trying to buy some second hand thats probably something wrong with it rack - just buy from Hamco!

We rocked into Hamco’s today for some car seat covers and purchased some lovely sheepskin covers for a competitive price. The fifth star is to the lovely Matt who took the time to give us first class service including fitting them into our Kia. Definitely recommend.

Recommended by Rangiora Toyota for Camry seat covers. Very good price and very affordable to have them fitted correctly. Well worth a look if you are looking for seat covers or bicycle racks.
