The owner, John, was hands down the most efficient, kind and reliable business owner. He was able to deliver Warrant of Fitness and New Tyres + Wheel Alignment on that day. Amazing service. Thank you John and will book for my next car service.

The staff at JT Automotive are very friendly and easy to communicate with. My vehicle had an electrical issue that was resolved within a day. Their pricing was a little steep, but they provide great customer service and a drop off option after working hours.

Good service,and good turnaround. Doesn't push to up sell unless he thinks you need it,was happy to purchase two tyre's, his professional advice was to get a wheel alignment,so I did. But worth it.

I rung upto see if there was a space to get a tyre replaced, got a very friendly man on the phone, yes no problem come in now. Got one tyre done, told me another needed doing, for a WOF, so after I confirmed it was fine they did both and a wheel alignment. Fantastic service. No pressure.

Excellent service, the owners have an immense experience and will always give the best advice. They are true mechanics, not sales men; they will be honest with you and never over sell repairs. They are flexible and always put the customer first. I have been a customer for over 4 years and my Subaru Forester is still thanking me for it. I tried other places never been truly satisfied, so took the car to John @ JT Automotive and never looked back. Big Thumb UP

Just want to say a massive thanks to John and the team at JT Auto. Always fantastic service. Always the best price. I manage a large commercial fleet which John and the team help keep on the road. Always understanding of our requirement. The turn around time is excellent, they always get the best result and work really hard to keep in within budget. I would recommend these guy to everyone. It's refreshing to find a team of mechanics who not only listen and respect my vehicle concerns and needs, they respond to me personally in a timely and friendly manner, even when they are obviously very busy! Great service, good prices and friendly staff are the words that come to mind when thinking about JT Auto. From the minute that we stepped in the door we felt like the staff was trustworthy and actually cared about are vehicle. The servicining was done quickly, with thorough explanations of everything and some recommendations were given as to some other work we should have done in the next 10,000 KMs. No false pressuring to get additional things done. Go here if you’re in Christchurch and want your vehicle to be in good hands!

I Have been taking my cars to John and the team at JT Auto for the last 5 or 6 years. They are a very clean operation, who stick by their pledge "to call before we fix" and they have also provided some invaluable advice over the years in terms of car maintenance and safety. I would highly recommend you use these guys to look after your cars, whether it be work vehicles or family run abouts.

I have been taking my cars to these guys for around 8 years now, they are thorough, very informative and haven't carried out any unnecessary work. In short, they are reliable and trustworthy which I have struggled to find in other mechanics. I still use these guys whilst living on the other side of Christchurch, worth the travel.

I highly recommend John and his team when it comes to any car mechanical matters. You can really trust John that he knows what he's doing and he's amazing! He would really genuinely help you in giving mechanical advise and he takes care of his customers' cars very well. His rates are reasonable. I've had terrible experiences with car mechanics in the past that were just rip offs and workmanship were so bad. But this time, I can feel rest assured that I've found the mechanic I'll be sticking with all my life here in Christchurch! More than 5 Stars for you John!

If I could give more stars I would, Dino worked on my campervan tirelessly to find out what the issue with it was for almost a week and managed to fix it in time for me to do a trip I had planned to Auckland, with this being my current home as well as car I can’t thank John enough for the amazing service he provided. John and the team take pride in what they do and they will go out of their way to offer a high level of service which you probably wont find at too many other garages. Super friendly and helpful staff. Pulled up with a flat battery. New battery installed and back on the road in 10 minutes. I tried 3 garages in the way and the best one said that I have to wait for an hour before they can see me. They all saying it is the weak before Christmas and we are very busy. This guys had around 30 cars in there car park and about 10 inside the workshop. Thank you guys, you are strongly recommend.

Awesome mechanics, very honest and won't rip you off which can be a rare find these days. The boss John is very human person, he instructed his team to repair our car, even they were fully booked (They had cars to Africa). Went there in 22 DEC (2 Days befor Christmas) for a third opinion because my car failed the warrant check. We are leaving to the west cost me and my family tomorrow, if the team at JT Automotive did not accomodate us, our holiday will be destroyed. End of the story, that saved me a lot of money and they saved OUR HOLIDAY. Thanks

WOF trailer call in Was accomodating & prompt to accept & a WOF inspector got onto it strait away: in & out in approx 20mins. Superb!!
