I went to Repco, and not only was their range limited, but their staff had limited knowledge.
Headed down to SCA, and not only was the range greater and they had exactly what i needed, and the staff knew their products and their capabilities well

P.When I arrived for a click and collect item all the staff were very busy. About six people were waiting. The three staff at the main counter ,as they finished serving their customer all asked if they could help next. But I was in no rush so I was ok to wait. Once the que slowed down a bit the lady went out the back and found my item.All sorted.The staff all thanked me for my patience. But with them having good customer service skills the transaction was a good one.Very happy to shop at this branch again.

J.I went in today to get some mixed spray paint in a spray can. It was quite busy at the time so sugested that i could come back during the week, however the manager said that he could get the details and mix it up when he could and give me a call when it was ready. It was difficult to find the code and later when he rang back he said that it was an incorrect code and that if i take the car to the ford dealership he would make up a new can at no extra charge. I have been there a number of times and the staff and manager have always been very helpful and i can see that the team are all relaxed and not stressed. I put that down to the manager and staff working hard to keep a good team spirit. That's why I give then 5 stars and definitely recommend the store😊👍

J.The staff here are knowledgeable and really helpful. They went above and beyond just to help me figure out which oil I was after, ultimately their suggestion of which one I should buy was correct and matched the oil I had at home. I was able to purchase new window wipers and one of the employees came outside just to help install it for me. He also recommended an awesome set of car wipes to use when cleaning my interior, now I swear by it and always purchase it. Awesome experience here and I would definitely come back!

S.It's a good store with great staff but it has a limited range, of the 12 things I went in for, all were listed on line only 3 were actually in stock

O.I recommend Supercheap Auto East Gate to anyone who needs professional help with their car. My car broke down today and my partner bought a tow cable to tow us back home. He stopped at the Supercheap Auto Riccarton Branch on the way to where I was and was recommended a steal cable. Unfortunately, while towing my car, the cable broke half way through. We went to Supercheap Auto East Gate as that branch was closest to where we were and spoke the the manager, Graham.
Graham and the rest of the team were very respectful, understanding and professional. We were refunded the price of the steal cable and properly recommended a different one to finish our trip. This might be a small deed, by it sure made our day a little lighter.

P.I dislike the fixed entrance/exit that makes you walk pass the tellers. Makes you feel awkward walking past them if you don't find what you want to purchase. I assume this is to make you feel like purchasing things you don't need to avoid the awkwardness.
