As I travelled around with my motorbike in NZ for almost a year, ofcourse I had several opportunities to go into different shops and talk to different mechanics. This's literally the best among all! It's not merely good, it's beyond my expectation. The nice mechanic manager even printed some information about the motorbike so I can have better idea about how it works. They noticed tiny things and helped me to fix a screw on one of my rear light which I didn't mention to them first. They do a fast service and offer a fair price. More importantly, they are considerate and caring, having a real heart to help. Thank you very much! Excellent service.

Great customer service, honest with prices and quick execution. Our car started making a really loud noise after our trip northwest of Lake Pukaki. Since it was a Saturday, the two closest mechanic to us in Twizel or Lake Tekapo. After comparing the reviews on this place, we decided to push our car for a longer drive. This was a risk, of course, but as people have already said on this, the workers were honest with their prices and were very welcoming. We got lucky that they were open Saturday morning! Turns out, our exhaust broke and it took them about an hour to fix it all up! Thanks again Tekapo Auto Services!!

Amazingly generous response by Sharron at Tekapo Auto after our hire car was written off by a hit-and-run driver on Queen's Birthday weekend. She promptly offered us the use of a courtesy car to continue our journey and was just so positive and helpful at every step of the way, despite having no obligation to do so. The very best of people and businesses.

Martin went out of the way to help us out after breaking down just out of Tekapo on our way back to Christchurch. We had a wheel bearing problem that required a new wheel bearing. Martin was on his day off and was already going to Timaru for personal appointments, picked up the part for me as courier delivery would be the next day. Got back to the workshop at 430pm and repaired the car for us which involved working til 6pm. Would highly recommend Martin and the team to anyone.

The mechanics came and fitted two new batteries...as soon as we contacted them and explained what had occurred....then when the alternator proved to have a fault as well phoncalls were made and we had a replacement the following morning

Superb service, arrived in tekapo on Wednesday with the brakes in our ute seized, dropped the ute thursday morning and picked it up friday morning, for a mechanic in a small town to be able to source parts and fix the brake in that time frame was excellent, the people who work there were more than helpful and we really appreciate their work. Thank you, highly recommend A++++

Got my car radiator replace when travel to Tekapo. Martin, the machanic explain and show what's wrong with my car and fixed the next day so I able to travel back to Wanaka. They are so friendly and professional.

The sliding door of our campervan was jammed. They had a look at it directly and within the hour the door was fixed for a fair price. Fantastic service and very friendly people. Highly recommend this place to other tourists with camperproblems!

Incredibly competent and friendly. Helped us strait away with our car. Our spark plug was broken and they replaced it strait away so we could continue traveling. The price we paid was fair. We can highly recommend this mechanic!

I was beached as in Tekapo with what i thought was something severely wrong with my Gearbox! I've already seen myself trying to get rid of my Wreck and Hitchhiking my further way. But in the end Martin the mechanic made it drive again for the far minimum of cost i would've expected. Words cannot describe how reliefed i was, seeing my car driving out the garage and on a short testdrive around the carpark. Like a playfull foal, after overcoming an injury or something.. Thanks guys!

Very good customer service! After being refused in twizel (busy + rude) I went to tekapo. After 15 min they had a look but unfortunately they couldn't do everything what needed to be done, so they called Mackenzie automechanics in fairlie and arranged an appointment for the next day in the morning and recommended some things to do and places to go to in fairlie, the woman in the office was very kind and the mechanic competent! They try to help travelers as good as they can and don't leave you alone with your car issues..100% recommend, especially if you are a traveler! Thank you very much! Best wishes, David

amazing service! we had a problem with a coolant leakage. first we went to Twizel and they told us that we have to change a hose and they couldnt say any price. so we drove to tekapo. they looked at it and he cut the hose short and fixed it under 1 hour. Done! no new hose no complications! fair price!

If like us and you are a stupid tourist and get your motor home stuck. Call these guys. They were super friendly didn’t make us feel like idiots (which we clearly are) and a fair price. The other firm in Twizel was 200 dollars more! Thanks to Raewyn and Ian plus our lucky coincidence meeting of Ashik (sorry don’t know how to spell your name) and your lovely family. 😃

This Company is fantastic on every level, they treat everyone with care and respect and charge the same way, they are perfect in my book, I have had occasion to use them three time and each and every time has been a pleasure to deal with. I very highly recommend them.

Incredible, they need only 30 min to find the problem why my car don't start when I turn the key. They turn the key and my car starts every time. They explained me how I can fix it and how I must turn the key to start the car :D Thanks for that
