Fantastic service from a customer-focused team. Fitted me in at short notice straight after the holidays, needed a new condenser and fixed multiple leaks (previous owner of car saying "oh just needs a re-gas"... grrr). Prompt service, kept up to date and Steve and his team know their stuff. Would recommend.

Forget about getting your air con fixed by anyone else.These guys are a cut above .Customer orientated prompt efficient service AND not over priced.Great to talk to people that actually really know what they are talking about. So any air con issues I recommend these guys (get down there)

Fast friendly and efficient service. Steve, quickly assessed the issue on my Mk7 Golf, called with a solution and fixed it quickly. I would recommend Unicool if you are having car A/C issues.

Steve is a Legend. I almost want my aircon to go wrong again because I don't have to think what to do. I just go to Unicool. Excellent service communication and dealt with the insurance claim to make it a breeze. Thanks from one engineer to another.

Steve fixed up my air con almost a year ago - he was easy to deal with from start to finish and gave me an upfront price with no mucking around. As I suspected It was a full replacement of the compressor and while it wasn't cheap, it is now 100% fixed. Unlike other mechanics Steve diagnosed the problem quickly and didn't try to use band aid solutions like re-gassing or just replacing filters. All in all a positive experience and would reccomend unicool.

BMW X5, took it into Steve and he diagnosed an initial fault, replaced part and then found another issue. Ordered part and part was lost in transit to him. He replaced the whole thing with a new one and got it on the road working. An increase of $200 from the initial quoted figure was well worth it albeit unexpected. Friendly and personable to deal with. Very happy with the end result. Thanks Steve

This is the only place in Christchurch that will do you right for fixing your cars AC. Every other place I tried would take my money for a refridgerant refill even knowing there will be other issues and you will be back at square one a couple weeks later and out of pocket. Unicool were the only place to explain to me that refrigerant doesn't just disappear. They did an excellent job and would even stay late to get the job done so I had my car sorted for my road trip. Very nice people, I highly recommend to anyone.

Right from the start of the process of discussing installing air conditioning into our tour vehicle, Steve was very professional and meticulous in obtaining the required details to give a comprehensive quote over the phone. After having no luck at the other shops I was glad to find Steve. He went far more than the extra mile to diagnose and fix an a.c system used to cool my supercharger. Steve stands behind his work 100% and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Awesome service - Steve diagnosed the problem with my AC from my description in my email, arranged with me to meet him at the shop even though he was on holiday and only popping in for something else, had the part ready in stock, and it was all fixed in less than 10 mins at a really decent price too. Will have my business again any time! :)

These guys are the best thing since sliced bread. Very friendly service and even though I very clearly knew nothing about the issue they didn't rip me off (and let me check with others after they first diagnosed the problem). Super efficient, no mucking around. Car was ready when they said it would be and cost what they said it would AND they even fixed my car keys which were broken just because they're good guys.

Stopped in here after our regular mechanic had no idea on why the air con wasn't working and was talking big dollars to diagnose. The problem was diagnosed immediately, clogged filter, and fixed 20min later after they got a replacement part in. Awesome service

Honest and fair people that would tell you if a repair is not the most sensible option, instead of trying to make a quick buck off you. I wish I had directly gone there instead of being ripped off elsewhere first. I highly recommend this place.

They were kind enough to fit me in over a lunch time and inform me that all I needed was the filter replaced, which they did in 10 mins at little expense before a holiday weekend. Good guys who I happily recommend.

After all the bad reception at other places no names I came to unicool talked to there friendly team they sorted my air con out in timely fashion and charged an affordable rate very happy with there fast friendly service an will be back if I have any more issues cheers guy :) two thumbs up
