J.Super easy to deal with, quick to respond to any comms and always willing to explain the details to someone who identifies as car illiterate 😅.
Really upfront about estimates and pricing - have never had any surprises in that department which is much appreciated. They were even nice enough not to charge me when I took my car in for a non-existent oil leak after investigating the issue thoroughly (turned out to be coming from my husbands car…).
I switched to Dubworld for a while (just because the location was more convenient) but have gone back to Volkspower because I feel like they offer better service and value. Highly recommend!

M.Again great service, spent $1k fixing my Golf Wagon with them a month ago and yesterday my back brake light blew so decided to pop in, within 6m both bulbs on both lights were replaced and all free of charge. Thanks to the older gentleman that has looked after me twice now.
K.Recent got a Volkswagen second hand that had some oil problems, had a search on the internet and found this company had a lot of good reviews... and for a reason. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. They explained the issue clearly without complications and got it sorted in just about the same way. A pleasant constrast considering the general stereotypical reputation of certain auto mechanic workshops. Would recommend if you needed a VW repair of sorts.
D.Top service from these guys. Prompt friendly service. Even though they were unable to solve my (extremely difficult) issue (I'm a diesel technician and understand what was entailed) they spent at least 2 hours on my vehicle, didn't charge me and referred me to a specialist workshop.

C.Don't quite understand the bad reviews on here.. Found them to be a very helpful and honest crew.
Have taken my vw crafter in a couple of times for some pretty major work, the guys were very transparent with what needed to be done, flexible around my needs and booked me in with no worries regardless of them being very busy. Comparing to another vw company I went to, martys quote and work was half the price of my previous quote at the other company.
I highly recommend this place.

N.Absolutely top notch service, dropped my car off in the morning on an extremely tight time frame with zero notice, was sort just after lunch the same day. Marty is a top bloke with a wealth of knowledge and expertise and really helped me out of a jam, cant recommend them enough. top notch service.
M.I was unable to drive my VW Passat and my servicing garage, who has sold me this car new, said we can't help you for at least a month. I told the tow truck driver who suggested Volkspower. There I was advised quickly what they thought was wrong with the car and that they could do tests to validate this diagnosis . Meanwhile I rang VW NZ to complain about my dealer and servicer who soon sorted out that problem . This is where I doubly praise Volkspower as they graciously accepted my car was going back to the dealer. They did everything they could to be helpful and were at all times pleasant. Thank you Marty I really appreciated your firm.
b.Hi I'd like to commend Marty and his team for the exceptional work they did on our Volkswagon passat early in the new year (2020). Down Canterbury way, on a SI wide road tour, we had a holiday ending breakdown on Banks Peninsula. Where another garage misdiagnosed the fault and suggested a pointless and potentially costly repair, Marty had the fault identified smartly and worked out of his skin to get us back on the road in time for our ferry crossing back over to the North Island. "Don't cancel your crossing" came the cry from Marty as the 11th hour cutoff for cancellations loomed. And he was as good as his word. With its new fuel pump fitted at reasonable cost, the car purred all the way back up to Auckland and is still going strong. Thanks again Marty.

P.My wife rang them up in the morning as the window in her Bottle had dropped away, she was told to come straight in, the parts were couriered across town and within two and half hours she was on the road again with the window mixed. Great service. Thanks Marty.
