n.Very friendly staff. I went there for my full license test. All I met were cool. Even my examiner was. Convenient enough location. It is located on a one way. Have separate parking slots dedicated to customers for vehicle inspection and license test.
A.Met a grumpy and unfriendly guy at my first visit.
My second visit was amazing. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The examiner explained the whole process to me and I was able to pass the practical test. I would have given a 5star if not for my first experience.
E.I tried this place for the first time today. I didn't feel that the wait was overly too long considering it is a drop in service. The workers were very efficient! I cannot remember the names of the employees that helped me today, but thank you guys for your great customer service. I appreciated their genuine advice when my car failed its warrent today. Will definitely be going back!
b.Great service and very friendly staff in this place , my instructor she made me feel comfortable and less nervous during the driving test!!!👍🏽definitely would recommend my friends to do the driving test with them!!!

S.I set my full on the 4th of March and my instructor who took me was one of the nicest people I have ever met! He was kind and made me feel so at ease, really talkative as well and never belittled me if I made a mistake. Unfortunately I lost the VTNZ card he gave me so I'm posting here instead. Thank you David W for being so kind!

A.Wish I was told that my COF had failed and was to come for a recheck. I was only told to get a tsl from Uber and luggage restraint. I had a VTNZ WOF sticker earlier and thought it was a new COF. I even kept sending old wof to Uber thinking it was my new COF. After being rejected many time then only I found out COF was failed. I know I should have read the paper but still wish I was told. It would not have been such hassle and feeling ripped off making me pay in full. Wish they’d have been a little considering but no. Oh and the waiting!! Sue, the lads at the counter is amazing though.

C.Painless, wait free, replacement expired driving licence. Sue made the experience an entertaining process. No returning home for one more piece of paper to prove who I am. Just a good giggle and efficient, no nonsense service. In and out in 15 mins. Never again will I go to the AA.

m.Awesome people! As soon as I walked in, I had a warm welcome from the desk, then saw the other staff with such positive energy. Sat my full license practical test, and it was lovely to have Janet, she's really friendly, and for people like myself who are nervous, it so it's nice to have staff that make you at ease.

K.One of the best driver licensing centres I have seen so far. Janet (TO), was so cool that I didn't even feel I'm appearing a test she made me feel comfortable by talking softly, unlike the previous rude testing officer I had in Sockburn. I passed the test and good luck to VTNZ Lichfield street. I would recommend others to give their tests in Lichfield street although the roads will be narrow but you won't find heavy trucks and trailers on the route which usually make the driver nervous. Also, speed remains uniform throughout the test. All the best.

A.I took my Car 🚗 for COF to this place, I would like to give these people 10/10 for their professional services and the staff are so friendly.i highly recommended this place for COF and WOF and any other mechanical matters.
P.Good service and advice on my aging cars condition and potential things that may need to be addressed future down the track. Although the line wasn't that long it did take a while in the queue due to only 1 person being on, possibly a staffing issue but at the end of the day solid advice and a full car check done so 5 stars!
l.Very efficient and speedy service even on a Friday afternoon! Friendly and reliable, I prefer VTNZ for WOF inspections as they are always thorough but don't recommend things that don't need to be fixed just for the sake of it.
C.Went in to get a wof after getting hit by another car. Was going to be a long wait so decided to do some errands, the lady behind the desk helped me find the places I needed to go, very helpful.
Ended up that the damage done was cosmetic and i only needed unrelated repairs to pass.
Would certainly recommend them to others.

u.I didnt go to this office. I went to AA in marshlands rd. It was fine, the lady was helpful and patient and prepared my for my theory test well.

V.Good to know that your WOF is a good one and safety is more important than a few $$$ . Was fast and efficient once your vehicle got to the front of the line , waiting area could have more comfortable chairs .. especially if you have a long wait..

N.Friendly and professional staff, my WOF passed with no problems whatsoever. The check was about 20 minutes, I didn't need to leave my car with the mechanic for the day, nor book an appointment. I will be using VTNZ for all my future WOFs now.
R.Been here off and on for years and always been happy with service. Sometimes a bit of a wait but you can either head down the road to C4 cafe and the wait is no trouble or VTNZ do also have a good waiting area on site with magazines, TV and refreshments.

A.Dropped in for a WoF on my motorcycle - completed with 20 minutes and had a lovely chat with the fellow about my bike. Recommended.
C.Fast and friendly but mostly trustworthy. It had gone up to $62 but worth it to know for sure. Was impressed cos this guy hooked my car seat back up which wasn't done in the past so be aware of that.
P.Very good, friendly staff and quick service (30 mins on Thurs morning) - highly recommended. Seating & waiting areas could be better arranged, didn't realise there was more seating at the back, only found out when I left.
P.Quite a long wait - 2 hours (not really their fault, lots of people wanting vehicles checked). Good service though, and you definitely feel like you can trust the result. Don't expect them to go easy on minor faults :-)

N.Because they're not affiliated with any mechanics you know that any faults they find are genuine. Pleasant staff and waiting areas and super convenient that they also provide services such as registration renewals.
c.I think the independent unbiased assessment of our vehicles is important. These folk do exactly that and are well organised.
L.I don't see the point to book a hour for your truck if you have to wait to another's truck going through before you because them got there late.

p.the guys here were awesome and understanding. literally rolled up after work with my motorbike and got a new wof in 30 minutes. was mt first wof ever on my bike and was a bit nervous to see what they came back with. no issues no problems at all. started the wof even though i left my wallet at home. deffinately going back.

A.Bit more expensive than I wanted but the service was excellent. In fact the person doing the check on our car went above and beyond to help us get the WOF for our car so the price was worth the service provided
P.No appointment needed, just park in the queue, go into the reception and register, your number plate, name and if your there for a WOF (Warrant of fittness) or for both a WOF & a basic service check. Then off to the client waiting room, which has plenty of seating, magazine s, water cooler & television. Nice and quiet and clean.
I was not waiting long and my paperwork was delivered with a note of a smallish issue to fix for a WOF pass. Free check when I have it fixed.
