I needed AA service recently when our car suddenly smoked and had strong burning smell coming down the Rimutakas into Featherston. This company attended much more quickly than the estimated time given by the AA . The mechanic who attended had a very good manner and had excellent knowledge of the possible problems of an older car. If it had not been for his knowledge we might have abandoned the trip we had only just started.I believe some mechanices would have advised us not to go ahead but with his convincing and plausible diagnosis we continued on and had no further trouble with the car except a slight repeat of the problem on our return over the hill which proved the analysis had been correct. Our Easter holiday was successful and i was grateful.
