Customer service next to none! I'd recommend this friendly and well run business to everyone. I have a fairly old vehicle and they managed to source a part for my car at short notice... and they gave me a courtesy car for the night. Their prices are reasonable and I found them to always give honest and professional advice. Keep up the awesomeness Research Motors!!

Fantastic. My mechanic closed down and I needed a new one and my neighbor recommended Research. They were amazing, I was stressed and struggling and they helped and got me in and out and fixed in 30 mins. Such a great team. Definitely my new mechanics!!!

Really are the best service in town. See them working hard. Only problem you have to book quite abit in advance. They are that good everybody wants them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I've been going for several years. Darby, Brook and team do an excellent job. They will give you honest, genuine advice that you can trust. They often show and explain how/why parts are broken after replacing them for transparency sake. Also overheard them telling a customer to get parts elsewhere (through a family members work) to save money. Shows that they're intentions are for the best for the customer NOT to make make money out of you. That's something I can respect and trust.

Family run, highly experienced and professional mechanics. Don’t understand cars? No worries - Darby and his senior staff will happily talk you through the issues. No problem too big or small.

Very willing and kind mechanist. We came 6.1. in the morning with van. Our van made squizling sound when we start it. He did something with V-belt. It took 10min. and now it is alright. Perfect work. Thank you very much!

Service has been good, but not opening on weekends at all is quite frustrating. Some of us have families where both people work full time during the week and only have the weekend to sort out the car. Problem could be easily resolved with a rostering system to serve your clients needs.

Spoke to Brook re: vehicle leasing, lovely phone mannerism,asked how he could help. I shared i had been referr to this company, by a friend he asked who so i told him. He replied he knows thm well professionally. After explaing my need to lease rather than buy. He shared there are no cars until may be Friday. He will ring me when they arrive Gave him my name/mobile no.

My first visit to Research Motors today after a number of recommendations from friends. Darby and the team did a great job. Both a high quality and professional outfit, will definitely be using again.

I know that when I take my car here I will get great service and be treated in a polite and friendly manner. They are wonderful at also providing courtesy cars or giving you a lift home as needed.

Five star service with a smile. These guys are so good my Mum who lives in Auckland times visits with services for her car. They do a thorough non biased check, these fellas are that busy they don’t invent work to be done they do what needs to be done and that gives me peace of mind that my family are traveling as safe as can be. As busy as they are no one is ever to busy to discuss and explain everything about your vehicle and make you feel like you’ve really been looked after. This really is the good old fashioned NZ family business and if you want to sleep as easy as I do knowing my kids are in a safe roadworthy vehicle, check these guys out. Warrants, pre-checks, services or any mechanical work you need done these guys do,to the highest standard. In nearly twenty years I’ve forgotten how many cars and utes I’ve sent through, not to mention motorcycles and even a house bus lol. Research Motors are GENUINE, old school genuine and that’s hard to find these days.

This place is amazing. Family owned and opporated. Always go the extra mile. We've taken our cars here for years and will continue to. Quality, reliable work.
