Great 24/7 service, top staff. The location is hard to find, don't go by Google maps. Enter at Nimons buses at the roundabout and drive through the security gate to the HB towing at the back.

We were lucky to call this company when we had a car accident! A huge thanks to Shaun for helping us out and giving a positive mood when we were super stressed. We had to get back to Auckland and Shaun stayed with us till the end to make sure we are safe and got a place to stay or purchased airplane tickets! Great service and awesome people! I reccomend this company!

I had the fortune experience of using this company when my car decided it didn't want to drive me home last night. I am an AA member and HB Towing are the company to provide the exceptional service to help out! I had Shaun as my driver/tower/dropper offer and he was fantastic. Very easy to talk to and helped make a slightly stressful situation quite calming! I appreciate that you guys drive all over the place but thank you again for taking me and my car back to Otane last night Shaun! And my car is now fixed hooray!!! Highly recommend if you find yourself in a pickle! Thank you

Thank you Shaun for coming and saving us after my car had a fault. He made a bad situation not worrying and took care of everything with ease and even offered to help us out with a ride home, amazing dude. Really appreciate people like him that enjoy other people and make the best of a situation, made the drive so easy and has some amazing stories to tell.

Great service, Shaun came across me straight after an accident and stopped to help and took care of everything including checking to see if a rental car was available. Absolutely first class care and service, he even helped me move all my stuff over to the rental car! After a horrible experience he managed to make me feel relaxed and calm, fantastic guy.

Was having a terrible night, my mini ran out of petrol and even though I topped it up still wouldn't go - got the AA out to try jump it and everything but the mini remained stubborn so it had to be towed. I was absolutely stressed and almost in tears cause I had only just got the car back and didn't want to leave it! Shaun was amazing, exactly who you wanna deal with he made me feel a lot better about the situation. On the way home we talked about our project cars and made sure I was okay before he left. A great guy all around, very happy and cheerful and ended up making me feel better about the whole situation and being nervous about being towed. Give this man a raise 😁

Great service, and I've forgotten his name but a great young man dropped us at Napier airport and took my van to Hastings,but my friend had left her keys to her car in Auckland in the glove box and he dropped them back to us.

it is unfortunate to have your car broken down in the middle of nowhere/the highway and need it towed but Shaun made the whole situation so much better with his light-hearted spirit and kindness the moment he stepped out of his tow truck. We were stranded in the cold but the moment Shaun arrived he filled us with so much comfort and warmth and just made us feel better by checking and assuring us about the car problem. Due to the situation, 1 of us needed to hitchhike or get another ride to the next town but he refused and disallowed (fatherly instincts) and decided to fetch all of us into the next town. I truly truly appreciate kind souls like Shaun. The entire journey to the next town was very heart-warming with many stories being shared. In all honesty, i’ve been here about 4 months now and he’s the kindest person i’ve met so far. Thank you for making sure we all made it back to the next town safely. We truly appreciate the extra mile you made - turning on the music for us, sharing your lollies, u-turning back to help another group of people that were stranded in the cold with their over-heated engine. These are things that really warmed our hearts and made us forget how small the problem (broken down car) was. There are so many more things in life to be appreciated and your daughter is very lucky to have a dad like you. Thank you once again Shaun. All the best in everything you do. After seeing us on the road on the way to pick up another vehicle he returned and helped arrange a tow for ours then gave us a ride to pick up our rental from Napier airport. Awesome service!! Our car broke down Labour Day in the Napier-Taupo road, but despite the public holiday the response time was great! The driver Shaun (#43) was wonderful - friendly and not at all fazed by my chatterbox 5yr old. In fact he kept her amused the entire way back to the mechanics, turning our stressful day right around 😊Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Let me tell you about the best, kindest, and most honest tow truck driver in the WORLD. His name is Shaun. Today we broke down on the side of the road and was for lack of a better way of putting it, totally screwed. Shaun was not the driver originally sent out for us, but that didn't stop him from stopping and making sure we were ok. He went the extra mile in every way, not leaving until he knew AA had a taxi coming. Today was not the best day in the world, no day where you car breaks down in the middle of a hairpin turn is it ever a good day. However, I can tell you Shaun lifted our spirits, made us laugh, and got us to where we needed to be. Today was a good day because we got to meet Shaun. Shaun the BEST tow truck driver in the WORLD. I hope for everyone's sake if you are ever stranded that Shaun is the one that comes to your rescue.

Great service, broke down on Pakowhai Road in the early evening. Shaun arrived in a timely manner and was very friendly and helpful even to the point of ringing to check if I needed the key left with the car keys before he dropped them at the service centre. Many thanks and would not hesitate to recommend or use this company again.

Stuck on the side of the Napier/Taupo road at one of it's high points, late afternoon and heading for a frost really is not that funny. Over the 3 plus hours since Monty( our '53 Mercury Monterey), decided he wasn't going any further, only 1 of the many hundreds of vehicles that went past, stopped to see if we were okay. So when Shaun, from Hawkes Bay towing arrived, he was the most welcome sight. But more than that, what fabulous service. Quick efficient loading, great company back to Taupo. Then just lined the truck up so Monty slid back into his shed. So many thanks from both of us Shaun. Made our disaster trip bearable.

He came to my rescue this morning on the side of the State Highway and not only changed my tyre quick smart but even had the equipment on hand to pop some more air in my spare tyre. Excellent service, right from the ladies in the office to the tow truck driver, had a problem with the car having no brakes, explained my problem with ladies in the office, and they arranged everything, even having the tow truck arrive on time as arranged, being a classic car the tow truck driver looked after it like a professional, from pickup to drop off, would recommend this company 100 percent, great staff.

Our 4WD decided it wouldn't go tonight (alternator issues) and we had Shaun come out in the cold to warm our hearts and spirits. Awesome conversation on the way from Hastings to Napier. By the time we got the 4WD unloaded it felt like we'd known him for ages!

My car was down a deep slope resting against a tree. The road had recently been ashphalted at the property I was visiting and we were concerned the winching may scuff it up and damage the road. After much thought and consideration Corey lifted my car out of the drop very slowly with ease and no damage to the road. Very professional and a job well done. Thanks Corey

Shaun responded to an AA call I had put through and was wonderful. He arrived in a timely manner and even offered to drop me off somewhere after he dropped off the car. If you find yourself stranded, I cannot think of a friendlier face you'd want to help you out.

Recently my daughter needed roadside assistance via A.A, a tow truck was required... The Drivers name was Shaun, he was incredibly supportive, calm helpful and talked to my seventeen year old daughter with respect and integrity.

Shaun was incredible! This was my first ever break down in the middle of nowhere and he somehow made it calm and comfortable. Super friendly and knows his stuff! No one else can compare to this tower! :)
