J.Partner took the car in for a cambelt and waterpump change. While I am very happy with this I am not happy about the unauthorised work that they did. 4 light bulbs installed and we were charged for those and who knows what for labor for them being installed.
I checked with consumer protection and it says any unauthorised work by mechanic you do not have to pay for unless they check with you first which they did not.
You can clearly see it in the attached pic.
You must let owner know if any other work is to be done before doing it.
