Best place to get your car inspected, fixed ans serviced. The mechanic is very knowledgeable and very honest. I have been dealing with him multiple times and he never failed me. Always my number 1 place to get my car sorted. 100/100 service.

Got my dad’s car serviced here yesterday. Wasn’t sure how it would go due the car being quite old and it hadn’t been serviced in a long time. Mohammed and the team put my mind at ease because they made the process easy. Car was serviced in less than a couple of hours, very professional and efficient. Absolutely thrilled with the work completed on our SUV. I went out on Saturday for what I thought would be to get a quote and to to book for the following weekend - I was wonderfully surprised when Mohammed and his team sorted my car breaks out there and then! Very friendly and honest team. We came here without appointment and a broken overflow tank. They found a used one for us within a couple of hours and replaced it immediately. I visited this mechanic based on the positive google reviews and was not disappointed. Mohammad, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure I leave as a happy customer. Mohammad provided a free assessment of my car's rotars and break pads in the morning and had new ones installed before the afternoon just in time for me to pick up after work. He was so accommodating in every possible way and provided great service. I would definitely visit them again.

Top notch service. I trusted the google reviews when I was looking for a mechanic to fix my power steering leak. Mohammad and the team went above and beyond. They got me a brand new replacement part for less than what I had previously been quoted by others for 2nd hand part and they were able to fix this same day, initially told by mechanics they would need my car for 2 days. I am extremely thankful to the team for getting my car in today to sort out some safety issues before the 4 week lock down. I work in healthcare and require my car to be safe to get to and from work. I had it booked in for in a weeks time but obviously couldn't get it down then with all that is going on. Great Guy Mohammad Bhai, I had a petrol leak in my Mercedes it was the closest to my workplace, called him and got it fixed same day even though it was busy and had no booking just requested him as I was losing a lot of petrol..great mechanics as well and reasonably charged so I will definitely visit again for regular service and would also recommend everyone. Fabulous service. My car blew a radiator hose and I had come from Auckland to Wellington to buy a car. I could not afford a long delay. I phoned a couple other places and was turned away. Without been told the problem these guys said to get it towed there and they would look at it straight away. They did just that. It was a professional job and it did not set me back a lot either. Highly recommend them.

We've been with Midas since 2010, starting in Hamilton. the old guy in Hamilton was a straight up GC. He gave you a fair price and always did an excellent job. Moving to Lower Hutt we stayed with Midas. The service was exactly the same, fair, honest and professional. I must admit I made the mistake once of going to another garage for a service because they had a "special". In the long run it cost more because of course they found work that "had to be done", and all the parts were over priced compared to Midas. Moral of the story, just go to Midas Lower Hutt!

Have been using Midas for all my mechanical repairs for several years now as they are great people to deal with - always super-helpful and & competent. By way of example, recently I called in unannounced with my vehicle having just failed a WOF at VTNZ, for reasons I strongly disputed (a tiny crack in the steering wheel vinyl, which had been there for years with the car passing all previous warrants, was now suddenly deemed by VTNZ to require a full steering wheel replacement cover to pass a WOF!). On my arrival at Midas, Shane immediately came out to inspect the 'problem' and agreed VTNZ's diagnosis was a total over-exaggeration; the vinyl crack did not pose a safety risk and he issued a WOF for my car himself. It would have been easy for Midas to concur with the VTNZ inspector's failed WOF diagnosis and thus get the $ for the repair work from me, but this incident shows Midas has integrity. I will in future be booking all my WOF inspections at Midas, in addition to mechanical repairs. Thoroughly recommend - a trustworthy business, with competent mechanics who know what they are talking about.
