Took my car in for a service and a few other things here early this year and was very happy with the price it came to. and i’ve dropped my car off for some more maintenance knowing it’s in good hands and they’ll take care of it. top notch job and very professional.

Good attention, I brought my car cause I thought the transmission was having troubles, the technician gave me a pretty accurate diagnosis before to do a run test . Finally the probleme was related with the spark plugs, they change them and the car was ready in the same day

Tauranga had got a lot of good mechanics and mobile ones too, but in my opinion Dakota at Fulton went just that further bit to help me understand the problems i had to fix - not the problems that might happen in the future. He talked to Mitsubishi about my car before i had committed to using him and his pricing was better than 3 other mechanics that also quoted me for the same job. The job was done in exactly the time they said it would be done, and for the exact cost that i was quoted with no hidden extras to pay for. Excellent service! When I was quoted the cost for maintenance to be performed on my car, they explained what needed to be replaced. When taking my car in they communicated what additional maintenance should be performed on my car, but sought my approval first. Both the mechanic and Dakota were clear on what was happening, and the customer service from Dakota was great!

I had my warrant of fitness, full service, break disc and pad replaced and wheel bearing done. The owner was there when I picked up my car, he went over and beyond to explain what was done and was patient with my questions. Altho there were some hiccups for stuff done that didnt need to. Good and quick response from Dakota.(top up notes: its only been less than 5 months and the car is making loud noise. My partner highly confident that it is the transmission but i did a service here back then so not sure why, gonna send it to Nissan this time)

This is my very first review that I am writing. I read what other people write about services and it helps to decide. So today I really want to share our experience using Fulton Automotive. We were having a major breakdown with our 7m motorhome, only just managed to park at Bayfair shopping centre. The front wheel suddenly made a loud scraping sound and we were very lucky that it happened at low speed. So we contacted Fulton which was around the corner from us and which we used for our usual annual service, so we knew how good they were. We already thought this won’t be easy to fix on the spot as we had already also contacted the AA, but they would only tow us away and as we are living in our motorhome this would have been really complicated. So we were so very lucky that they asked us to send pictures of the problem and Shaun came out with his truck within half an hour and the right equipment picked up on the way! Amazingly he was able to fix a broken suspension on the carpark! Very impressive, outstanding and highly recommended ! 👍👍👍👍👍

We are retired and have bought a motorhome and are in the process of refurbishing it so we can just take off with no time restrictions and see New Zealand. We had one major stumbling block and that was the suspension. We researched the mechanics in the Tauranga area but our decision was easy as the help from Fulton prior to booking was exceptional. Kris and her team have been amazing. They have gone beyond the call of duty and we now have up- rated suspension at a reasonable cost in a good turn around time. They kept us fully informed throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend this automotive company to any motorhome owners - dont bother looking anywhere else!

I've had other mechanical workshops blatantly try to take advantage of my (lack of) knowledge of cars at other places in Tauranga but felt totally at easy with the team at Fulton Automotive. They are fast and efficient, took the time to get me the best deal on part costs rather than jump in and spend my cash unnecessarily. They treated me and my vehicle with care and respect in every detail and now I wouldn't choose anyone else to take care of us. Next up I'm taking advantage of their car 'day spa' services. I'm a busy professional and a servo wash just doesn't cut it. I know I'm in good hands and couldn't recommend Kris and the team more. If you're looking for the best then don't look any further.

For all you girls (and guys of course) out there go to Fultons! I'd taken my car to a couple of places to get a price for brake repairs and then by recommendation went to Fultons. BEST DECISION!. They explained everything and showed me what the problem was. Service was amazing as was the price! (also didn't try to say I needed other stuff done which I didn't actually need) Started the work immediately and loaned me a courtesy car overnight! If you want an honest quote for repairs girls I would totally recommend them. Thank you team Fulton - I'll definitely be recommending you to all my friends!

I was on holiday in Mt Maunganui, up from Wellington (in early December 2018). My 1998 2.5L V6 Mazda Capella Station Wagon started leaking water somehow. I was supposed to be heading back to Wellington the next day. It's not a good feeling to be far away from home and your car breaks down. How was I going to find someone to look at my car now, at such short notice? I Googled for a mechanic and Google came up with Fulton Automotive. I rang them and (very friendly) Kris immediately said, "Well you had better bring your car down, now." Fulton Automotive did not muck around and they fixed the leak by replacing a hard-to-get-at hose. They had to remove the air-box, wiring harness and throttle body, to access the hose. The next morning I noticed that the car was not idling properly, so I took it back and they found the problem quickly - a vacuum seal/pipe had fallen off the air-box. The team at Fulton Automotive therefore "saved the day" (and saved my car) and I was therefore able to get back to Wellington with no problems. They did a fantastic job! Thanks so much to the team at Fulton Automotive! :)

Happily recommend.... I now take all my vehicles / trailers to Fulton for WOFs and any service work that maybe required. They earnt my trust 1st when I dropped my car in for an antifreeze change a couple of years ago. . They subsequently dropped it back to my work nearby with an invoice that said “current antifreeze condition checked, in perfect condition so no replacement... no charge”. I’m pretty sure some others would have been tempted to change it anyway for the charge back !! Also took my 2009 Volvo there after a local Volvo “service agent” said they would have to pull the engine out to track a vibration. ($3000 just for the removal !) The guys at Fulton fix the problem inside x2 hrs with no removal.

Attended a chicks cars and cupcakes event at Fulton Automotive on Sat 9th of April. As a woman I found the garage to be totally female friendly, giving demonstrations, how to change a tyre, check oil and other car fluids. The hands on event, was extremely well organized and I learnt so much! Great idea for women who want to learn about their car.
