Super good customer service. Was willing to help me out even on a Sunday. Would highly recommend Menzies to people in the Nelson area. He went above and beyond to get my car up and running again.

Best experience with a mechanic ever. Greig and his wife Lynette are really super friendly and helpful, down to earth and with a big heart. We first arrived without appointment and he started to check our van straight away, repaired everything that needed to be fixed a few days later when they received the parts (a big and difficult job) and brought our van to the AA center to get the WOF. Everything was quick, perfectly done and cheap. We felt that we were in good hands since the really beginning and have not been disappointed. Thanks again for your help guys ! You offered the best service we ever had. We will be back (hopefully not too quick !)

One of the best mechanics I've ever met. First, super professional. Greig knows whats he's doing, and he'll get it right always. Second, this family business really makes you feel like a part of the family. Since we were living in our van, and needed a new radiator, they offered us to stay and park for the night. We even shared a lovely dinner together. NOW THATS A PERSONAL SERVICE! Go there. You won't regret. Thank you guys for everything!

A lovely little Garage with an experienced friendly mechanic, a nice wife and a cute dog. He loves to help you and don't want to diddle you. They do only necessary things for a fair price. If you spent some time you can get a nice talk with helpful tips for free. Chz.

Menzies Mechanical saved our butt's! Hubby and I had some urgent work required on a vehicle and were running on a very tight time frame as we had to be at the Picton Ferry at a certain time and Greg made time for us even though he had a full workshop and did the job over a public holiday. Absolute top bloke, went the extra mile to fabricate a part for us so that everything would run smoothy even though he didn't have it in stock at the time. 10 out of 10 would recomend! Very good mechanic, fixed our car in no time. Greg is very friendly and an honest mechanic that does what has to be done but wouldn't rip you off. He fixed our heater and did our tires. I highly recommend him. Thanks you Greg for keeping us warm during winter ;-)

Professional, genuine, decent prices! Greg fixed my brakes - they were a mess. I needed new brake shoes and cylinders. Greg tried his best to order them as quickly as possible, since I was on my way to the North Island. The parts arrived in the afternoon, but Greg worked on my car until everything was fixed - although it meant to work in the dark with a headlamp! Awesome human, compassionate, kind, trustworthy - highly recommended to both locals and backpackers. Thank you so much Greg, you probably saved my life :-)

A business run by a very friendly and down to earth couple. Our camper started leaking oil when we got to the south island. The pair were very sympathetic and happy to help us as much as possible. Greig fixed our van, with a smile and some good banter thrown in. Top service.

Our van had overheated badly, and our motor was basically toast. The mechanic was very honest in his diagnosis, and didnt try in any way to take advantage of our situation. An honest, hardworking business that looks out for people who need a helping hand or guidance, would reccomend to anyone. Also, had 2 amazing dogs to brighten our mood!

Genuine, reliable and affordable place. Menzies Mechanical I would highly recommend. I’m a young female who knows nothing about cars and would easily get ripped off by most mechanics. Was trying to buy a car and took it to Greig and Lynette to get checked over,, not only did they fit me in on such short notice - TWICE, but Greig also took the time out in advising and explaining everything he was doing and why. He saved me from buying a complete lemon that would’ve cost a TON to fix, and helped me find a reliable car without any issues. Will definitely be back in the future and will be recommending you to friends and family. Thanks guys! 🙂

Greig and Lynette work very hard to make sure their customers have a good service and are fair on price too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend after I took my van in twice for some work and Greig did what was needed to get it through the WoF without breaking the bank. Worked late into the evening to fit new brake pads after he noticed they were bare. Thanks again!

I highly recommend Greig's services! Fantastic guy, friendly and easy going. We broke down at Springs Junction on our way to Nelson. We called Greig 2 days from Christmas thinking he may fit us in after Christmas, to our surprise he said he can help is straight away. So we got towed to his shop where is record time he diagnosed the issue and sorted it. Top bloke, good price, thank you very much!

Highly recommend Greg's Mechanical services for backpackers etc, after we didn't pass our WOF he was able to do the Wof repairs on the spot and it was cheap. He's a really good person and helped us out alot!
