10/10 service today amazing help turned up with my kids and was dropped home thank god lol / car was returned to my house and paid a reasonable price for the work done - friendly bubbly service highly recommend prob best one yet in Papamoa !

While on holiday in Papamoa I had a run-in with an island in the Papamoa Pak n Save carpark. Even though the workshop was very busy, Mark's team carried out necessary wheel alignment work promptly & at a competitive price. I had an issue arise meaning I had to cancel the service I had booked in on short notice. The rep I spoke to made nothing out of it, and promptly helped me re-book which was greatly appreciated. I gave clear instructions on the tyres being replaced and the rotation I wanted (front to rear, new on the front) but it was somehow lost in translation. However, not upset about it as when I came back to pay and collect the car and noticed this, the boys the car in straight away and corrected the fitting. Also the shop was very busy, easy for confusion to occur. All and all, happy with the service, and will be back next time. Cheers team

The only mechanic in town I would ever take my cars to. Honest people who treat you with respect and dont muck you around. I find my experiences with mark and the team to be honest with there quotes and they diffently go over and beyond to help out where they can. I trust the team %100 and have always had great fast work at a high standard at a great price. Have recommended to family and friends and I highly recommend to any one reading this,you will not be dissapointed.

Mark and the team at Harman Automotive are absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a mechanic or tyres in the Papamoa and surrounding areas. Mark has warranted, serviced, repaired and supplied tyres for my Audi S4 for over 4 years now, as well as my VW Golf. He has accomodated my car needs many times often in an emergency, offers a courtesy car as a service and saved me literally thousands compared to other European car service workshops. Keep up the great work guys!

We had our WOF done here. They are very friendly, helpful and do a great job. Fast service on the day and the WOF was $48, which is reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

Mark and the team at Harman were great at sorting out my car for a reasonable price, and when I had further unexpected problems they were very helpful and understanding about the situation and tried to help me out as much as possible. Much appreciated.

Charged me for work and labour that i didnt approve for during WOF, they left oil stains all over my car mats, receptionist was very rude to me on every interaction we had. Could have been worse though, i suppose.

Had a WoF done here which took about 1-2 hours. The team at Harman found a few problems with my vehicle and was able to remedy these quickly over a few days except for my seats which took a little longer (mainly due to the age and somewhat rarity of the model of vehicle I had given them to work with). After a week, the Harman team were able to save me about $3,000-4,000 for seat runners and complete all work on time. Thanks guys! EDIT [11/8/2018]: Instead of writing another post I thought I'd update this instead. About two weeks ago my Jeep wrangler started acting up; she was driving fine and smoothly until the windshield wipers turned themselves on and then refused to turn off. When I finally got to work, the vehicle just wouldn't start. I had it towed to Harman Automotive that evening and visited the workshop the next morning and they were very friendly to letting me check in the vehicle and leave my details even though they were not yet officially open. They also managed to look into the vehicle that day and got back to me via a phone call to explain what went wrong with the car - I was able to pick up the vehicle that afternoon just in time for the weekend so it was an extremely quick turn around and only set me back just over a hundy. Mark was very professional and was able to explain what went wrong with the vehicle in a way which someone like me (who knows nothing about cars) could understand. They also gave me a few options as to what I could do to futureproof my vehicle in the best way possible, and even took the time to call around and find the best deals for parts. The team also gave my dog a cuddle and a pat!! :) Thanks team, you earned 5 stars when you did a WoF on my BMW earlier this year and you've most certainly kept it; wish I could add on another star! [EDIT 28/06/19] Had a WoF done on the Jeep Wrangler and the team were once again very thorough. Natalie, the receptionist, was able to arrange a booking the evening before and the team were able to complete the WoF inspection in the specified time. Mark does amazing and thorough work and was able to find a few problems which were not expensive to fix. He was also active in communicating with me, for example he gave me choices for different reflectors rather than just slapping on any old one. During the wait I noticed other crew members working on other vehicles, frequently pairing or grouping to make sure their professional standards of thoroughness remained high. As an example, a trailer was being inspected and Harman Automotive were able to advise the trailer owner that it was not a recall trailer, potentially saving the owner a lot of time and money, meanwhile a Mini Cooper was being pushed into the workshop by three crew to ensure the car was taken care of during the whole process and all this was happening while Natalie was taking more bookings and also following up enquiries for car parts being ordered towards fixing up the other vehicles. When Mark drew my attention to the fact my driver's seatbelt may need replacing in the future, even though it wasnt necessary for this WoF, I did not hesitate to also get this done simply because I was quite impressed by the whole operation being run here. Good job and hats off to you and the team, the five stars are well deserved.
