G.Thanks to Dean, Vinny, Danny and of course Benny today for their awesome service and efficient mahi today on my car. After picking it up, I took it for a drive on the motorway and thought I was in a new car. Cheers guys, I will definitely be recommending you in the future.
P.Been a customer of Midas for almost 20 years and have found them to be trustworthy and good value. What more do you need from your local mechanic.
V.Inspected my car breaks first then give me proper details with a quote. Done the job quite professionally in time. There was a bit of confusion on appointment and availability of technicians. Still gave me a proper call and done the job in time. Quite transparent with the job done.
P.I’ve been going to Midas for 2-3 years now and they have always been absolutely great. Fast, fair with pricing and friendly people with a great attitude. I was most impressed when my car broke down recently and they managed to get it fixed within the day even though they said they may not be able to do it until the following week. When I went to pick it up and went through the workshop the two workers there greeted me with a big smile and a wave and just had the best attitude. Will definitely keep going here. Also Kenny who stays up front is amazing. Clear with information and friendly guy.
A.We've been using Midas in Porirua for our cars for years now and they are always great to deal with. Nothing is ever a problem and Kenny (especially) goes out of his way to make sure we are happy with any work done. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their car serviced or repaired. R.5 stars +. I can’t rate Kenny at Midas high enough. He gave honest and very helpful advice when I found myself in a pickle. He knows his stuff, and could of charged me anything but instead he gave me 100% accurate advice on the phone FREE. Good old traditional NZ customer Service. These guys are the best!!!
L.Can't recommend these guys enough! Really great to deal with and did a fantastic job welding the first part of my headers. Then instead of welding the slip joint, they suggested using an exhaust sealer instead and they did that for free! Absolute legends, and no more leaks from my headers so couldn't be happier.

M.Midas Porirua Management and staff are professional, efficient, friendly, honest and clean. They always check first if I want any suggested work on the car and advise the cost. The cost of their work reflects the time spent, and my personal opinion is - they are value for money. I trust them. In the four years my car (new in 2006) has been serviced by Midas Porirua, it has never had a problem.

J.Fantastic service. They honoured a quote from Midas Newtown as my vehicle was never going to make it in to town to have a new clutch installed. They were happy to fit parts ordered from elsewhere and didn't charge for a bit of work they missed first time round due to a miscommunication.
N.Took my car in for Basic Service 10/10/19 (called ahead and scheduled about a week in advance). I mentioned to Kenny that my family would be taking my car on a driving trip of North Island, so could he please look it over to make sure it was good to go? An hour later, Kenny called me to say it needed front brakes, and he was trying to get the brake parts for me that day (rush service!). Long story short, it absolutely did need brakes, they installed new brakes for me, and my car is ready to drive! Huge thanks to Kenny and Midas for treating me like a valued customer. I'll be back for the next service!
10/31/19 update - took my other car in for service, got the same outstanding customer service as the first one! Thanks again Kenny!

I blew a hole in my muffler on the way to my girlfriends parents house, freaking out that I'd be turning up sounding like a tractor with their daughter and they would think I was some type of mad man - the team at Midas fixed it up on the spot for me. Could not have been happier with the level of service I got.

M.They are very honest and professional. I was doing my new pre-owned car's first service. I asked them for extra things to be replaced and I got a quote. When I came back to pay they told me that components to be replaced didn't need change. I paid way less than original quote.
If they were dishonest, they would've replaced it anyway and got the extra bucks.
I would never go to any other mechanic.
